Earlier this Summer, REEL FAITH host, David DiCerto, was given the opportunity to interview an extraordinary woman. Mother Dolores Hart, former actress and author of "The Ear of the Heart", was a delight to be around and it was an honor to meet and spend some time with her.
Pick up her book, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!

I'm also Catholic, all 74 years. And everyone comes with a mission. The secret is for you to find out what it is. For some, the signs point to it for others they are vague. My father wanted me to be an engineer. That was his dream for himself. But I didn't have the math aptitude needed for that but I was a wiz at art. Had all A's for 4 years in high school but my father refused to pay for me to continue in art school. Said it would be like throwing money out the window. All he saw in art was Van Gogh, who died penniless. Yet when I had my son, he showed a complete affinity to cars. He would pour over a Chilton book at 9 years as if it was Shakespeare. He is now 43 and an engineer for GM. HIs dream came true. But it was in him from a toddler. It took me longer to decide my calling was to be a wife and mother. I have 2 adult children and now 2 grandsons. Now that I am divorced and living alone, my life is continuing with prayer. I pray for all those that can't and to release souls from Purgatory. I am content and happy. I never feel alone or anxious. God and His Mother are always with me.

She said "GOD IS THE BIGGER ELVIS "...Her words made me smile because I knew they came from her holy pure heart. God chose a pure virgin for his mother, Because of Mary's purity the Holy Spirit. Still she has the beauty of holiness. Heaven is a place of beauty--almost indescribable beauty. God bless you, Mother Dolores Hart.

I wish Hollywood have more people like her. Hollywood is not a good example to the youth right now. Maybe if more people like her in the acting career - they would make the world peaceful and living and we won’t be in this predicament where showing your body is the style. Having multiple partners and spouses becomes okay and an example.

Mother has led a most interesting life. We are elated that she chose God over Hollywood. We always thought it was so interesting how.she had lucrative Hollywood career time at that point in history, especially her movies with Elvis, particularly since she was so plain looking. It was unusual for Hollywood to select such a woman to play roles with such an icon as Elvis. This is just my "irrelevant" opinion, so please don't flood me with negativity. Blessings

Wow, you are a piece of work. You cloak your jealousy in a gratuitous sign off of "blessings". You want no negativity, yet you spread it. Her outer beauty is not important to the Lord, and yes she was beautiful in her youth, but do you know what is really beautiful? Her genuineness, the love emanating from her eyes, truly an Angel here on earth. If only, we had more women in the world such as her, this world would not be so broken .

I don't understand why? And I don't think everyone that is born has a purpose in this life. However, if she is content, that is all that matters. I remember they did a segment of her on 20/20 and she said I am more confused about God now than I was before.

@@suew4609Well many people believe like in the church, God would (just) exist as a father and outside of us. But who says that he really is a male? I think that Jesus and the Apostels knew, that at that past time, people only listened to men as leaders. So they said God is a father. But He is a creator of life. The universal source of creative energy and pure love, pure light. With no certain energy. He,is, male and female in His energy. Because only both together can manifest something. He is all. And to believe He is only a saviour outside of us, IS a children's belief. We have God inside of US! WE must realize and activate him/IT inside of US. WE must live Love. WE must make peace inside of US. WE must so good to US and Others and do something good to the world and earth. God only comes to earth when WE bring him there due to our beings. Jesus Christ came to show US, a way, a possibility how to do it. Even He felt left alone by God at some points in His life and especially at the end of it. God listens to prayers. Our Angles too. But Not always does for us, what we want. It's about time now, that WE get adult and responsible for ourselves. Our body is the temple and the church in one. And our heart IS the place, where God acts if WE cultivate it. It's where we connect with the source of all. And WE shall reach higher conciousness and live the best, the holest, the holiest WE can in every moment. WE are developping souls. Mistakes come due to Ego and unconciousness. But WE are in progress of Soul groth every day... And WE can learn from buddhism too. To do everything with greatfulness and in peace and with intention and love and mindfullness. To master our ego with our higher self that is always a part of God. So stop dreaming and wishing, that Jesus comes back to earth. It's Not important if he does or not. It's about US to bring the Christ conciousness, the transforming love energy to earth. Everybody. That's it. 💜🙏

Real faith? Read Exodus 20 Psalm115. 1 Tim. 4 and 5 and say it is real faith. You can tell by the fruit coming out of that institution. Sad, it is rotten right to the core sad to say. Trust in God rather than man for God is wiser than man.

The institution truly has rotten apples in it but there are a remnant of pure hearts scattered among them. Don’t let your tarnished perspective filter out the wonderful words about true faith from this woman Deloris Hart. There are evil people in every religion and denomination. We must not compare a rotten dead tree to the rest of the forest.

Compare Elvis to Holy Communion and Eucharistic Adoration. Which do you preach most? To the World and of your heart. You have to ask HIM to discern for you, child. You have to let go of this World to have a chance to actually gain Heaven. No guarantees, though. Luke 13:24. You can proceed through your ceremonies and prayers according to your order each day. Never means Romans 8:17 and 2 Corinthians 4:10-11 in accordance with 1 Corinthians 13:3. Being holy should be so difficult that you do NOT want to be here. i promise you.
