When my neck was unstable, I had strange symptoms. I was able to alleviate my symptoms by hyperflexing my neck. The video shows I'm able to move my R shoulder more and I'm able to walk normal again. It was the strangest thing. We now know my nerves were getting compressed to my shoulder, and my spinal cord was being compressed.

Ok....I'm crying my eyeballs out! I think you may have just helped me!! I had a clinical diagnosis of EDS hypermobility for years but until a couple months ago I was always met with "no, there isn't any use testing, there isn't any cure or treatment, so there's no point"...clearly we know that there is use in testing...but in also getting to EDS specialists who can see what we're going through and actually access if there is help to be had! Anyway. About 7 years ago when my neck hypermobility was getting worse and worse, I gradually struggled more and more with balance and gait and walking. I'm seeing my first EDS specialist tomorrow morning...in just over 12hrs...in feel like God brought your videos up in my stuff if for this one only! Thank you!! Keep the faith zebra sister!!

Megan King Thank you!! I was refereed to a neurosurgeon, Dr. Henderson. This is all coming just in time because I've already had one stroke and I currently feel like I'm having compression issues, or something, and I'm terrified I'll have another stroke! I scared stiff right now!

I know this is an old video, I was just watching some of your videos and this one caught my eye. I have CCI and I have neuro deficits that improve when I hyperextend my neck (opposite of hyperflexing yours). I also have dystonia. I relate to this video so much!

It was discussed. I didn't have testing for TC done. Before I had my fusion I was put in a halo brace. The halo was put on & a specific amount of traction was applied & all symptoms, including the ones shown in video, got substantially better.
