Thank you for your highly educational videos, they really help me understand the damage I have in my spine (T5/T6). Dr I would really love to see you do a video explaining the engineering of the pain and how it affects the nerve root to produce the radicular pain in the intercostal spaces. Many thanks

Dr. Nabil... Best secription of the conditions in the Spine I have found on the InterWeb!! You provide No Nonsense Info - showing Exactly what affects What in the affected Nervous System. Very helpful for my own personal Doctor discussions with Orthos and Pain management doctors. I have issues at T1-T2, disc herniation at T9-T10 . I swear those conditions (I have other spinal maladies too) are affecting my Diaphragm causing breathing problems and Costochondritis across the rib cage and Chest.

So far this has been more helpful than any physicians or anyone else I’ve spoke to about my t9-t10 herniation. Currently the plan is PT but, currently, I’m in horrible pain and am trying to learn my options. I have 5 kids who need a present mother.

Hello, and I hope this is a Happy Holiday season for you and your children. Did you ever figure out what worked for your disc herniation? I just found out on December 14th that I have a herniated disc between the T12 and L1 vertebrae. My doctor is performing an epidural on my spine next week to reduce the inflammation of the nerve root, which should allow the disc to heal (according to the doctor).

@@marcd1981 i know your comments not to me but I am also going through the same thing, I'm going on over 3 months now and it's been crazy, there are improvements though so I'm trying to stay strong, I was offered to do steroid injection too but I'm scarred, I hope it helps you, do you get any pain travelling in the shoulder blade and shoulder and neck from your one? I wish you well and I'm looking at lot's of people's comments of their experiences on different things at seems like the first 3-4 months are horrible but after that things start improving but it can take longer to fully recover like 6 months or more but some people recover faster but mainly why I'm saying that is i was freaking out at the start because when you look it up it says 6-12 weeks to get better and I was in such intense pain and it's such a scary time but hearing people say that it was tough but things did get better it just takes longer than what they say and that made me less freaked out

It can affect the Rib cage , Bladder and Bowl Dysfunction, and it can affect the Diaphraghm (breathing problems). @@Chiroman527What at a small world. Have you been injured in a accident ? It's unexplainable pain, unless you've been there you can't know. I cannot sleep on my left at all, been about 15+ years I can only be on my right - it gets real old. I believe the doctors hold back the real connection between pain location and MRI findings. I love my doctor she's a real angel but her "you are fine" like a mother meaning to a child "you will be fine" soothing but missing the point. I love the video,I picked up all MRI recordings ( 2016 to current)of I got a real understanding of what the findings are, this is a MUST see video.) I have multiple sclerosis. (it's brain injury ) so It's MRI 2x a year, I've learned so much on this video and I've been searching for years

Very helpful...This pain was driving me crazy, I have been my own physician...Because American Doctors lack of Health Assessments techniques, they are good with technology, but are not willing to examine appropriately, I have been advising my own physicians what tests to do otherwise they would send me to the operating room for a heart surgery wihtout any clue of what's going on.....No way!!!!!! Thank God that I am a nurse and I work in the field, but someone that doesn't oh Lord has mercy 💣

I'm not sure if you can answer this, but when I have this radiating thoracic pain it always makes me nauseous, and sometimes when it's really bad i do end up throwing up and then almost immediately the pain is relieved. Could the stress and violent movement of vomiting be releasing the compression/helping slip discs, vertebrae, nerves back into the correct place?

I need help . Drs saying I have congestive heart failure , However . Beginning of 2021 I went thru chemotherapy, the cancer has suffocated parts if my spine , for some of the vertebra , the contrast had to be turned up on the MRI images to see the bone at all, I am having problems with my legs and back really bad , I'm told the pain in my hips are from the nerves in my spine sending referring pain .. If this is possible because if my nerves , is it possible my heart could be also having difficulty because if nerves from my spine too ? I ask my Drs and ,as usual , they put furniture between me and them and leave the room . It's like they really don't know . I had one of them tell me that my heart doesn't get signals from my 🧠 Brain!!! Obviously I need a new team lol So I'm asking questions before I see another cardiologist, I need to know if I need a Cardiologist or a orthopedic.. any advise or input ?

Hello, and Happy Holidays for the 2023 season! I just found out I have a herniated disc at the T12 - L1 region, which I was told is not a common area for herniation. I am scheduled next week for an epidural shot of a steroid into the area to reduce the nerve root inflammation. My doctor told me once the inflammation is reduced enough, the disc will start to heal. I have tried NSAID's but they have no effect on my pain, and physical therapy, as well as chiropractic treatments, did not change anything for the better.

Hi! What kind of pain do you have?
@marcd1981
@marcd1981 3 ай бұрын
@@AutoFirePad Hello, thank you for asking. My pain is in my right flank area. It feels like a cramp deep in my side, which goes all day, every day, and has been for (9) months now. Since my comment, I have had the epidural I mentioned, and when that did not work, my doctor tried a nerve block (Cluneal Nerve). Unfortunately, that did not work either. I have been to (12) doctors over the past (9) months, I've had every type of imaging done (X-rays, CT scans, Ultrasounds, and MRIs) on my abdomen, pelvis, right hip, right flank, and spine (thoracic and lumbar areas). I was told that none of the imaging shows anything that would be causing the pain I have. I've done chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture and trigger point therapy, and again, no change to my condition. The pain I have (on a 1 to 10 scale) varies from a 4/5 up to an 8/9 on a daily basis. It never goes away, just varies from painful to extremely painful depending on the activity I am doing. About to lose my mind.

@@marcd1981 Sorry to hear that. I think I have a milder version of your pain: in my right back, just under the lowest rib. It feels like soreness when I breath deeply. Over the day the pain fades but when I lay on the bed it slowly builds up. Im still getting diagnosed but the only thing my doctor says is that is not a broken rib, so Ibuprofen and muscle relaxers, but I feel like the very first day. There are two exercises that have helped me: one is hangin the torso to relieve pressure on the back and the other one is a flexibility exercise called dog-cat. I don't know if you have tried those but if not I encourage you to give them a try. I hope you find a bit of relief brother.
@marcd1981

@@AutoFirePad Thanks for the reply. I have similar pain, but mine is the opposite of what you described as for when I feel the pain. Mine is as long as I'm out of bed, it will be there, and depending on what I'm doing, it will usually get worse as the day goes on. I can relieve the pain when I lay down on my back, which I'll do when it gets bad enough during the day. I go to bed by 11pm, but I lay in bed for 2 to 3 hours before falling asleep. Then our dog is up about 5am, my wife takes her out, but I'm up from the yipping. I'll lay back down to try and get as much sleep as I can over the next couple of hours, but depending on the gardeners or construction work going on, you can't sleep past 8am. So, I need to find out what the hell this is before I get worse from not sleeping or eating what I should be.
