Friend of the podcast and one of my favourite authors Dr Tara Swart is back on The Doctor’s Kitchen show today. Neuroscientist, former medical doctor and author of “The Source”, a book that has been hugely impactful to my career and mindset.
She’s also host of top rated life sciences podcast “Reinvent Yourself with Dr Tara”, and brand ambassador in beauty and well-being.
Today we’re going to talk about neuroplasticity and the ability of every human to adapt and change way later in life than we originally thought. Dr Tara will talk to us about exercises for how to better tap into the potential of our brains, as well as the science of why manifesting and vision boarding (also known as ‘action boarding’) works as well as how ancient wisdom has influenced her medical practice.
Her idea is simple: no matter how old, how stubborn, or how set in their ways, everyone has the capacity to change. And to add to that, everyone has the ability to manifest a future for themselves full of love, joy, health and whatever you desire. But your mindset and willingness to let go is crucial. You will love Tara’s science influenced approach to manifesting and ancient practices.

Jumped straight in after listening to Tara and Rangan, it’s been almost 3 years since I heard you both on Rupy’s podcast, I can remember so vividly the exact place and time and what I was doing and I was sooo excited to hear Tara backing up things I know, through the lens of science and have followed avidly since! Thank you both for a fascinating conversation and Rupy your manifestation is inspiring ✨

I loved this episode. I must have been living under a rock since I'm just discovering the episode but also Dr. Tara. I'm in a space where my health is giving me signals loud and clear to implement and integrate nervous system reset practices. (have just now downloaded her audio book). As usual, I love the tone that Dr.Rupy creates in these conversations. Thank you again for giving me some helpful tools and people to explore.

Love this and another wonderful video. 😊I need to get the books on Neuroplastocity. My phone is playing up mispelling thing. Yes, gratitude. I get people quoting Rhondda and yet all she has done is quote the Bible and spun it around as most books have done now I have realised over the years what have happened and called it this and that. The Bible is an incredible book which gives you step by step walk how to live a good life. The Alchemist was incredible for me also. I manifest quite easily so I wonder when I started my early onset Peri-Menopause I was looking for a really sound good resource for my research and found The Doctors Kitchen. Took some of the valuable information from many of the videos and applied them to my life and became symptom free of Menopause now have a blog which goes live tomorrow. Thank you for being part of my journey. That was a manifestation that took on a whole journey of its own 😊👍

I love Dr Tara!! I've been practicing manifestation techniques for probably 12 years now with lots of successes but Taras book really resonated with me when it came out as it feels like such a logical perspective. I have read the physical book and have listened to the audio book several times too and have gifted it to friends and family. I love her work

Sometimes, the 'easier' solution can seriously help someone kick start to meditation, more sleep, exercise etc. Sadly, the time, space and motivation for these things are easier to facilitate when you are financially privileged.

Love that. The whole point of spending more time in nature is being healthy, and to enjoy nature and ditch the phones and stressful world of apps. Nothing healthy about phones or apps. Much better to stick with trees. 🌳🌳

Interesting, although I don't agree with everything. Some conclusions are a bit simplistic, imo, but provided interesting angles to look from.

Its make me laugh -you city people act as if you discovered nature! For years, the older generations have been camping, sleeping under the stars, scuba diving etc for REAL! There is nothing like living in the Arabian desert, the night sky, the feeling of space. Similarly, take a trip to Scotland and experience deer for real. Take a walk in the snow at night. We already know all the benefits and lived them. We also talked to our relatives and shared recipes, talked about food, spent time with family elders. Youre teaching your granny to suck eggs. Feel sorry that your experience is by proxy.

"Manifesting".....just another excuse for the ego to be manipulative......get over it.....the universe is giving you the perfect mix of what you want and what you NEED every day.....stop yanking on it....

This interviewer is such a pain in the butt….! He loves to talk about himself too much (it seems to be a self-therapy for him). What he says is of zero interest compared to what his Guest Mrs. Swart has to teach us. He even talks that much that at moments she seems to be puzzled about where SHE left her speech! Dreadful!!!
