Today, Lewis sits down with neurosurgeon and author Dr. James R. Doty to explore the fascinating science of manifestation and how it connects to our beliefs, emotions, and actions. Dr. Doty breaks down the difference between the law of attraction and manifestation, shining a light on the immense power of our subconscious mind. He shares how heart vibrations are stronger than brain waves and explains why changing decades-old belief systems is so challenging. Dr. Doty opens up about overcoming limiting beliefs, the crucial role of positivity in shifting our mindset, and how our thoughts and emotions directly influence what we manifest.

Probably because they're not actually banned or important enough to be banned. The AI generated cover art and descriptions pretty much tell a person right away that it's just a scam site. Half the books don't list an author on the cover or anywhere because it's likely just AI generated derivative crap made with ChatGPT. A simple WHOIS lookup on the domain shows the website was created just 3 months ago: Updated Date: 2024-02-10 Creation Date: 2024-02-10 So, no, it's not surprising at all that people don't know about them. 🤣

Over 10 years, I've progressively given up: - Alcohol - Junk food - Toxic relationships - Excessive sex - Excessive coffee - Anger - Grudges But I've been stuck for 3 years now with: - Judgment - Irritation - Vanity - Pride Especially, quitting toxic news has been tough, although I've managed to reduce their consumption. Even this was enough to radically improve the quality of life.

This is such a great interview! Especially when Dr Doty states don't let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do and Lewis reiterates that statement and adds that "we" have to take personal responsibility to make that decision for ourselves. Then they go on to say start with "little" steps. So spot on! Just this past May 2 marked 14 years since my accident when I was told by my surgeon that reconstructed my heels after being hit head on by a drunk driver that I'd never run again. I had suffered 27 broken bones, brain trauma, etc... but my heels were the worst. They were crushed and I was crushed because I was an avid runner. I proposed to my now wife on a trail run and had that stripped from me in an instant. Or did I??? Fast forward I'm not only running again but running competitively and running some crazy races like Spartan Ultra Beast in the mountains of Killington Vermont that took me 14 hours to complete. I don't say this to impress you but to impress upon you that everything in this interview is spot on, at least it was and is for me. Everyone make it a fantastic weekend!!!

The first couple of weeks were a struggle since I couldn’t get into a doctor, and as you know that when you go from being able to do anything to hardly being able to get dressed it has a big impact on your mental state. When I was in high school I imagined having conversations with my favorite singer, Elvis Costello. I talked to him in my mind as I listened to his music. About 3 years later, in college, someone called my place, looking for one of my roommates. He needed a ride to pay his phone bill. As we drove to the phone company I saw Elvis and three others walking down the street. I met him! I never had any doubts because I didn't know about the law of attraction. I learned about it decades later.

What he means is that the universe doesn't care about what you want. That the Universe isn't Santa that's going to decide whether you've been good or bad, and whether you deserve "good" or "bad". you get exactly what you ask for. And by "ask for" means attracting what you're being.

Also for me it is that, the Universe will only bring what you vibrate with...if it's negative, the Universe won't say "No, you don't want that, I will give you positive, or No you don't mean that, this is what you want"... it will give you what your alignment is...good or bad. So, the power is in you, to heal, and think positively and the Universe will just align. So he probably wanted and imagined and vibrated with a better life, and the woman came along because the student was ready to learn to change his life around. The Universe aligned with that, it was his to attract. That's how powerful we are.

I was in multiple abusive relationships and I realized I was just recreating my childhood dynamics over and over and though it is a Co-creation and I'm only taking responsibility for my Fifty percent and I know it isn't my fault it is my responsibility to be the change I want to see in my life and the world. I have been healing for four years very isolated and yet I have transformed so much in my world and things have only gotten better and better. Everything is always working out for me now and it's because I think speak and feel that at a energetic level. Same. I was severely emotionally abused as a child. For Many years I played the role of the victim and felt very sorry for myself. I literally manifested horrible things in my life, over and over and over. I still have trouble with this at times, but mostly, my attitude has improved by educating myself and working on my inner self, thus, a lot of the chaos in my life has disappeared. We are, what we attract… or better yet… we attract what we are! While it wasn’t our fault that we were abused as children, for that we are victims. But….. we can work on ourselves and learn how to react better to our environment and literally change our energy, to attract abundance and happiness! I am living proof that this can be done. We got this 💕❤️🙏🏼💕❤️🙏🏼

Brilliant. It's a constant confirmation, that it's up to us, to get the courage to believe that the power is within us. Not reacting to the outside world and chatter, and focus on what you truly desire to experience. To become our next best version. The scary part for so many people is that the new version is a new identity, hence to lose or drop the previous identity. To experience the new, a new ID is needed. That can be very tough, but is it worth it? That's for each to decide individually.

This was a beautiful moment where I spent 2 days going over this interview. No notes at first, then I took notes as I listened again. I feel a sense of calm and as if my soul was washed clean and I found a great start point to launch from. I appreciate what Dr. James R. Doty is doing in regard to manifestation and all the knowledge he brings. I also appreciate you Lewis Howes, you brought this into my space. I now follow you and appreciate your level of commitment to this conversation. You interview others very well, like a surgeon, getting to the area that needs attention, but sparing the surrounding tissues and not glossing over other relevant areas. Yes, you may figure that I am a medical provider too, a Retired Military Physician Associate. Your compassion for this talk comes through very well. In fact, I only had one real issue while I listened. That was to listen to you finish the interview with Dr. Doty or start "Mind Magic" on Audible. I bought the book somewhere around 1/2 way through as I felt the emotion you both expressed and realized I needed it too. Thank you and if ever this retired military Physician Assistant can offer help or interview or anything, let me know. Loved this episode.

It's interesting how medical doctors and medical students tend to be very arrogant. I heard somebody say recently that arrogance is rooted in fear. I was walking in the trails of Alsop Park in Little Rock once, and as I was walking up a hill this guy came down on a mountain bike and tumbled end over end. He ended up dislocating his shoulder, and I gave him a ride to the medical teaching hospital nearby where he was a student doctor. When we pulled up in front, two of his fellow student doctors were there to meet him, one male and one female. As we got out of the car, the female said to her injured friend, "Where'd you find THIS weirdo," referring to me. Don't you know I wanted to say something, but I didn't. I still think about that experience often, and it still pisses me off.
