I just love how Neuvillette is REALLY perceptive of Furina. What flusters her, what scares her, what hurts her, when she lies or tells the truth. He always knew she hid something and had he known other archons he would've seen right trough her act as well, as he did so in a daily basis. Yet, he always seemed to have her best interest in mind. Always concerned for her well being even when he was a little done with her antics. I really enjoyed their relationship before and I really do hope they get closer again and he can know the real Furina.

When he waited for the traveler to come before he descent to the Fortress of Meropide, when the primordial water was rising, all to make sure that Furina was okay, I was genuinely felt kinda jealous 😂😅 I was like, yo bro what are u doing? Wriothesley was almost dying 😂 but after 4.2 I was like... Good job Neuvillette 🥹🫶🏻

@@purple_sapphire He was actually pretty anxious, but somehow I think he knew Wriothesley could handle himself a little longer (I'm almost sure Neuvilette just teleport through ley line like us at this point) but if we didn't rush to help Furina he was afraid the knave would surely have hurt her. Honestly... He was pretty much correct even without even knowing what the knave did. Which is honestly pretty impressive.

As someone who ships Neuvifuri/Focalette, it does get a lil annoying to see people view them as family and enforce that as canon (even tho its more like a headcanon than anything). But like... that's just their personal interpretation ttho. IMO it's just as annoying to enforce other people that they're a romantic pair when they're not even confirmed (yes I'm very aware about all the hints Hoyoverse gave us inside and outside the game, but still, no verbal and blatant confirmation yet). Which is why I am trying my best to be open-minded of either interpretation of their relation cuz either way, there's no denying Furina and Neuvilette has a special bond. they're a set. they really really care about each other. and imo i think that's what matters the most

Some misconceptions about Neuvillette and Furina I'd like to clear: 1. Furina and Neuvillette are almost same years old. 2. Focalor is Furina's alter ego , her divinity not her mother 3. She acts bratty and childish to evade everyone questioning her archonhood she's not actually childish You can see them as close friends or lovers but they're definitely not father and daughter. Some people think they're relationship is similar to Hu Tao and Zhongli which isn't true Zhongli sees Hu Tao as child but Neuvillette never talks about Furina in that manner he always mentions her as if she was his equal and he evens wants to see her back at palais marmonia.

Yknow in fire emblem awakening , chrom and robin are given the title two halves of a greater whole. No matter what trials they face, they always had each others back. I think neuvillette and furina fit the title two halves of a greater whole. They had each others back and did their best to rule fontaine despite furina keeping secrets. It's not a bad ship and I don't hate it but at the same time I don't ship it It's a really healthy ship and I would probably love it but I quit genshin a while ago and ever since I saw Furina x Neuvillette when they only came out, I was shocked because I thought they were siblings 😭😭‼️ I later on found out they weren't due to KZfaq shorts and I probably like the ship more but I won't say that I ship it cause it still looks like they're siblings for me ☹️ I still think it's cute how Neuvillette really cares about her n stuff

I don’t get why 95% of the comments are arguing about Neuvillette x Furina. You all need to realize that someone who ships them interprets the canon differently, and same for those who don’t ship them romantically. I also don’t think it’s okay in any circumstance to hate people who do or not agree with your ships. Two things. -The game itself has plenty of evidence that Furina herself views Neuvillette as a potential "option". -Are husband and wife not family? Lol There's no reason to view a ship as less wholesome, especially if it's sincere and not hard-carried by lust.

People dont seem to know so ill try to explain. The reason the found-family headcanon about them is so ill received is because for two years straight that headcanon has been used as an excuse to dox, harass, and give death threats to shippers of old ships. This was inevitable. Everytime this fandom has pushed found -family headcanons there has not been a single instance where it wasnt used eventually in large-scale harassment campaigns. The fandom does not deserve the found family trope because they have always abused it. There is yet to be a single exception to this.

Tbh I don't know what kind of people weirds me out more, the ones who treat them as father and daughter or the ones who ship them?? They're the same age and both regard each other as a peer so the dad-daughter crowd is being weird for insisting on that relationship. And while the shipping is within reason, I'm definitely giving you a side eye if I catch you shippng them on main because I won't be able to figure out if you're doing it for real or being weird about it iykyk. It's like Scaramouche and Nahida all over again. It's sad that people don't think platonic relationships that are not familial are worth cherishing.

This is nothing like Scaramouche and Nahida though. I love Scara and Nahida as a familial relationship, in fact they have one of my favorite bonds in the whole game, and I don’t see it in a remotely romantic light. I agree that more platonic relationships should be cherished, but there are many reasons to view Furina and Neuvillette’s relationship as romantic. An enormous amount, in fact. Even so, people are, of course, free to not ship them, but there’s nothing inherently weird in doing so.

Bruh why is everyone in the comments arguing about ships. I personally see them as siblings but like, any other headcanon is valid. Honestly the only reason a ship is 'invalid' is if its illegal(it's not, they're both a similar age) or incest(which neuvirina isn't). Just don't say it's canon, cuz it's not(there's literally nothing confirming that, not even subtext), but most ships aren't canon anyway. Neuvillette GAVE Furina her vision. Focalor died and destroyed her heavenly throne in Celestia to return the power back to the hydro dragon. Celestia CANNOT hand out hydro visions anymore, only Neuvillette can do that now. Or so I believe.
