Hi Danny, Hope you got your business completed at DMV. Where I live you get into a queue and hope the people in front of you don't take forever. It's basically hit or miss. The meal at South Point looked disappointing but at $18.99 it's not a ripoff. Looks like they are using a very inferior cut of beef and I agree you could get two meals at the same price at Village Pub with higher quality. You did have a nice server though. She was attentive and did come back to enquirer about your meal. Great to see your friends in the video and get their input as well.

When I went a year ago it was smooth. Looked super busy but they had probably 30 windows open and it went fast. I was impressed. In Seattle it was a half day affair!

Another thing to know, you are considered a local resident and you can save on fees and resort fees in hotels. I used to live there and would stay at hotels and saved a lot of money!

Good gag on the CCW joke. Spirit Airlines LOL. Steve and TUNG totally rock. I wish Nevada reciprocated with California, Oregon or Washington and I'd already be there. Not taking any more bar exams. At 65 I am too damn old for that. My beloved mentor is in Summerlin, as is my God Mother.

Skip the Garden Buffet. Just had the breakfast yesterday 14.95+tax was like 16.20 + tip about 20 bucks. Poor value. I remember when it was 8.95.

Hello Steve and Tung 👋. Pittsburgh Style 👍🥩, See a straw in the tap water? I use a straw too. Steak 🥩 looked thin and medium at the thick selection on the video. OR looked good. Baked potato no butter, sour cream , chives. 🥔. Yes Lion Dance 🐲🐉. Happy Chinese New Years. Maybe Prime Rib next time.

Yeah the Nevada DMV is almost always behind with their appointments. The Henderson location kinda keeps close to your appointment time everytime i went to that location. I had the South Point Porterhouse steak a few months ago and i was meh with it. I kinda regretting it when all my friends got the prime rib but it was still good

Next time you are at south point go to primarily prime rib. I went yesterday for about my 5th or 6th time and posted some shorts. $30-40 for prime rib depending on the cut and includes soup/salad plus baked potato/mashed. Very solid deal imo. I get the 16oz cowboy cut cajun style

I will tell you, I was in the SP Buffet and they had prime rib, it was rather tasty for buffet... have you tried their buffet PR? I would love you to tell me how it compares to upstairs.

We get our insurance and registration at the same time in many many locations, sometimes right in the major grocery stores 😁Very convenient. How you gonna collect points now for the many flights you took between NY and Vegas, if you do?

at 20:08 .. the tenderloin side was there for sure, i saw it.. its opposite the larger side of the bone. but its just a cheaper quality beef is all. its like what they sell off the “low priced” steak trucks that show up at shopping center parking lots. thats how they save money. really enjoyed your video.

Maybe you should have tried the Chinese menu at the Coronado. That steak looks like a “Select” grade of beef, not much marbling or distinction between the strip & the filet of a Porterhouse cut.

I applaud for the precision on thickness of the steak, 2mm-17mm. I do question the accuracy though 😂 Don’t know too many people walking around with measuring tape. Overall, a good value meal 👍

A T-bone yes, porterhouse no. Its the same cut but a porterhouse is at least 1" thick. A decent deal for sure but they shouldn't call it a porterhouse. Tfs DTM. 👍

As soon as the waitress put that beef and barley soup down I could tell instantly it was just going to be a gloopy mess. It looked either super overcooked so that the barley had starched the shit out of the soup, or they just put so much barley that the same starchy mess happened anyway. A soup like that can still taste good, but when it's so thick and starchy, it's hard to enjoy it. One can add a bit of water to thin it out, but you shouldn't have to do that. The steak, oh boy. I mean it's a good deal overall don't get me wrong, but that steak was so uneven it was bound to be massively overcooked in one spot and then fine in another. And the overcooked spots were like, a moldy looking sponge that some rat in the trash outside is trying to eat but can't because it's so crazy fibrous and hard. Should have gotten the beef chow fun :)

you should be fine if you are less than 5'2" and under 110 Lbs OR your flight is less than 3 hours and you bring your own water bottle filled inside the airport and some snacks in your backpack.

@@dannythemedic Unfortunately I am 5’5 under 200 lbs and will definitely bring snacks and a water bottle. My trip is 2 hours from Fort Lauderdale, to Charlotte, NC for an overnight trip. Thanks Danny, Vegas definitely agrees with you.

oh 2 hours is fine. I myself would fly spirit for anything under 3 hours if the price is right. I once flew 5.5 hours on spirit, and I ended up with stiff neck, stiff back and a headache... I wasnt right for several days after...

DTM showing Tung's cameltoe napkin,that is not how you butter a roll. Did the channel change to "Food and Travel and more" now that your in Vegas? I've never seen a porterhouse that look like a hamburger patty.
