You might know Neve Campbell from films like Scream and TV shows like Party of Five, but before Hollywood, her first love was ballet. Now, Neve is the executive producer for a documentary called Swan Song about legendary ballet dancer Karen Kain’s final performance. Neve joins Tom Power to talk about her love of dance, what it was like to meet and celebrate one of her first idols, and what makes ballet a great form of storytelling.

Tom is hands down my favourite interviewer. He asks questions that are insightful and knowledgeable. So often his guests seem genuinely pleased with his questions and observations; they actually pause to reflect on their own thoughts and feelings before responding. There is such a feeling of respect and kindness about Tom that shines through all his interviews that makes me really enjoy them.

I met her at a convention in Atlanta a month ago and she's just wonderful. She's a very sweet, gorgeous and beautiful woman. She's a goddess.

Looking forward to seeing this documentary I love swan lake I take Adult Ballet Classes at The National Ballet Of Canada In Studio I take Classes with Kate Kerrigan I’ve only been dancing for 6 years . Obviously I won’t be in Giselle anytime soon lol but to walk into the Studio there is definitely something special sometimes I see famous dancers in the hallway as I go into my class . I only take an elementary class But I like how challenging ballet is for adults and how calming it is for me . Neve is so beautiful thank you for making this documentary I’ve never seen Swan Lake always wanted to I am going to see The Nutcracker in December can’t wait 🎹🎼

Fun fact: I heard her say on The View MANY years ago that her name is actually pronounced like "Eve" but she has given up correcting people.

The opposite. Tom pronounced it right (the way she wants it pronounced) in this video. She gave up (mostly) on correcting people who pronounce it as "Neeve", although she does correct them sometimes and tell them it's pronounced "Nev".

Neve Campbell plays Sidney Kincade in my fanfilm Jurassic Park Extinction and her huge moment is where she fires a shotgun to save the same 4 survivors from the original events from a new raptor called Deinonychus the studio school that made the animatronics saw them too ! 🤍💫
