This concept of survivor’s guilt shouldn’t be overlooked. I love how this show repeatedly shows the reoccurring concept of this guilt that tanjiro carries whilst trying to deal with it and overcoming it. He constantly apologies for everything and blames himself. The death of his family, rengoku’s death, inosuke’s fake death etc. he shouldn’t have to shoulder these responsibilities alone even if that’s what he feels as a lone survivor. The scene with nezuko and her dialogue really hit hard. Tanjiro is such a well written mc and is why he’s one of my favourite protagonists.

lupa gets the most hate for not being serious when its obviously opposite. i think out of everyone he is the one feeling it the most. it almost looks like he thinks he is with them. or being them. totally get it.

They never exactly explain techniques in this show but Tengen’s “Musical Score” is his ability to analyze his opponents attacks throughout a fight and break down the “rhythm” of their movement. In his head their movement appears to him like written music which lets him predict when he needs to dodge or block. The only downside is it takes a long time for him to “write the music” which is why he didn’t use it at the start of the fight. The musical score is the only reason he could still keep up with Gyutaro after losing his hand.

Uzui has analyzed combat maneuvers to the point where he can read them like music sheets. He converts the rhythm of the enemies attack into sound so that every fight becomes a song. He hears repeated phrases and can attack between beats and during the rest, dancing with his opponent.

This is the epitome of why I love Demon Slayer..... The fights are to the level where you LITERALLY are on the edge of your seat, because unlike other Anime with the main characters having OP powers & stuff, here it's simple humans against SUPERNATURAL-POWERED DEMONS, and every fight has you scared on just how in the world they pull through.

I'm respecting these upper moon demons more and more, they are ridiculously strong. They say a hashira never killed an upper moon before, well now we see why. The whole town literally blew up while trying to get rid of these two!! wtf!

This is why I love Gyutaro as a villain. He captures what is means to a demon perfectly: ruthless, disgusting, and to feared and damned by others. It’s the reason why belittles Tanjiro for not being strong enough, and even breaks his fingers. He’s just revolting, and the animators did a wonderful job with him. And, fun fact, his one of Muzan’s favorites based off his ruthless and disgusting nature.
