In his talk, Arnoddur speaks of the importance of not giving up and how he uses that wisdom in his work with children.
Arnoddur Magnús (Max) Danks is an actor, fight director, stunt man and teacher. He teaches kids the value of taking calculated risks, fighting individual fears and to realize that no matter how difficult things are or how frightening, they can always break through the barrier and go further, do more and allow themselves to fail without giving up.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

Just watched your talk, Arnoddur. My younger one is a ADHD, 7 years old. It's been hard for me and my whole family actually, especially her older sister. But she is such a lovely character, though having difficulty to fit in schools. I am always wondering how she feels being different. Today we actually told her about her ADHD, not sure how much she understands. I would like her to meet you. She's not keen on doing much activities, but just play. I will see if she will change her mind next year.

Anytime, send me a message some time on FB and we could find a time. ADHD was once described to me by young man that did acrobatics, parkour and is now training to become a stunt man in Germany, as his special super power because he had so much more energy than his friends.... various sports and specially martial arts have helped ADHD in finding their inner peace and channel their excessive energy in more productive way. Have a wonderful day :)

which part of your speech shows your difficulty? about the Somalian kid, telling the truth about the faulty schooling, thanking the people who taught you or giving suggestion in drawing the attention of the students even the ones with attention difficulty. You were splendid Arnoddur.
