I absolutely adore this musical i NEED to see you listen to “ Meant to be yours” and “I am damaged”

Please, please, please listen to more heathers- I reccomend many of the JD songs, he has so many AWESOME villain songs. one of my favourites is 'Meant to Be Yours'. its great, its exhilerating, I love heathers so much.

SO. HEAR ME OUT. “DEAD GAY SON”. Probably no one will recommend this but its the song that doesn’t give you any spoilers and gives you all that you need to understand the tone of this musical. It is the most underrated song of the musical and for me, is one of the ones that fulfills with perfection the comedy and fun of the musical with the fucked up things that are happening. Only thing I’ll say is: this happens in a funeral.

I really recommend listening to more of the musical, especially Beautiful, Our Love Is God, Kindergarten Boyfriend, and Dead Girl Walking (Reprise) ((they have lots of amazing vocals in my opinion))

I love how in “Freeze Your Brain” they just slap the dramatic right on you “Does your mommy know you drink all that crap?” “Not anymore…” “WHEN MOM WAS ALIVE” It actually made me laugh when I first headed it.

YES HEATHERSSS I now suggest Six! It’s about Henry the eighths wives and they all come together and make a band! It’s really cool and talks about how it’s not cool to do certain things.

It’s a little funny when he listens to the songs out of order and then doesn’t have context for other things that happens. The very first song of the musical is an exposition song and if you do this again I would recommend that song (I don’t remember the title atm but it’s a thing).

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WATCH THE MUSICAL!!!! It gives so much context and is just amazing in general. With hamilton the whole musical is sung so you get most of the context in the songs but heathers has a lot of other aspects to it that are not sung!

“Beautiful” is the first song in the musical and sets everything up beautifully (pun fully intended) so you should definitely listen to it if you do another one of these also “our love is god” “meant to be yours” and “I am damaged” are amazing as well

A little lesser known musical is Hades Town I absaloutly adore it. It's a modern day, apocalyptic take on the Greek story of Orpheus and Eurydice. The vocals are amazing and it's such a rollercoaster of emotions

You should do Be More Chill, its a great musical with incredible music!

As someone who plays Heather Macnamera in my school’s play, the high notes in Candy Store that she sings are just so beautiful with the other Heathers, love the notes in Candy Store being acknowledged

I love the Heathers Musical, I would recommend listening to "Blue", "Dead Girl Walking (Reprise)", and "Meant to be yours".

Heathers is such a cult classic. Almost every single theatre kid has listened to it lol. And almost every enby gender envy person resonates with "Meant to be yours" xD

I would totally be on board with you watching the whole musical, or just reacting to the rest of the songs. Heathers is just a musical of musical genius. I personally don't like musicals that much, but I like Heathers, a lot. There's also a movie from 1989 if you ever want to check it out that the musical was based on.

Candy Store is the best song in the musical. The entire cast is so talented. Barrett and Ryan 👌 And of course the Heathers

Meant to Be Yours, Lifeboat, and Our Love Is God are some of the best songs I’ve heard from any musical and are a must listen to. Plus, Blue and My Dead Gay Son are just plain fun :)

If you’re doing musicals then I would high,y recommend Twisted by Starkid It’s music is amazing and hilarious and it’s genuinely my preferred version of the Aladdin story

Here's a little bit about each character: Veronica: Sweet little bean Heather C: Mean but you somehow like her Heather D: Mean. Just mean. Heather C: basically being held hostage by Heather D JD: Murder loving phoycopath Martha: Smol bean Ram and Kurt: Raipists.

You should watch the studio booth video of Candy Store, where we can see the singers actually singing there. The girl with plays the main Heather (and did the high note in the end of Candy Store) is also the girl who played young Tanya on Mamma Mia! 2

Since you're doing musicals i HIGHLY suggest you do some Starkid stuff! They make original comedy and also parody musicals, every single one of them is free and professionally recorded on KZfaq. They make incredible stuff and are responsible for my favorite musicals. I suggest The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals for their original stuff, and twisted for their parody musicals. My favorite musical of all time is Spies Are Forever made by the Tin Can Bros, which is created by and featuring a bunch of Starkid actors. Or you can go classic and listen to some A Very Potter Musical songs.

Please listen to The Guy Who Didn't Like Musical's! My favorite songs are Show Stopping Number, Not Your Seed, and Cup Of Poisoned Coffee Everything about that musical is amazing!

You need to do a longer video on the Hadestown cast recording. It's completely sung through so you can get the plot without any visuals and the story is just incredible.

For context of most of the characters, you should listen to Beautiful, the first song in the musical. Some other amazing songs are Our Love Is God, Yo Girl, Meant To Be Yours, and Fight For Me.

Listen to the west end variant of heathers! It’s incredible and in my opinion the characterization is a lot better! I love heathers :) plus the west end version has quite a few live performances like west end live so you have something to watch

Oh heck yeah! Definitely listen to more Heathers!! I recommend "Beautiful" as it's the opening song and sets the scene really well for the rest of the musical.

it's funny because you make the same face as veronica does when jd says "when mom was alive" ajsjs - also if you liked the high note in freeze your brain, one of my favourite jd's, dan domenech (he understudied for the guy in the studio recording, and you can pretty much only find dan's bootleg floating around on youtube so he does tend to be the more popular jd from what i've seen, alongside the west end jd, also a favourite of mine, jamie muscato) does an opt up in that run and it gives me chills everytime and I've heard it so much over the years.

I recommend 'Be More Chill' Next! I would love you to hear all the songs, but my favorites hs to be 'More than Survive, I love play rehearsal, Two player game, A Guy that i'd kinda be into, and Upgrade'! But if you want to know more about the musical plot wise i suggest listening to 'the squip song' and 'the play' too!

You should also listen to the west end version The vocals are amazing in my opinion I would really like to see what you think of it

The girl that you loved doing Dead Girl Walking, Barrett Wilbert Reed playing Veronica, is so freakin amazing..haha, her portrayal of Veronica in this musical probably solely made me start going and watching more musicals. This, Beetlejuice, and Mean Girls were 3 of my favorites that I think you'd enjoy. Barret is also in Mean Girls and has a pretty amazing song. EDIT: Just finished, and man, I think you'd really enjoy watching the full musical..haha, there's a lot of other great songs from it that if you enjoyed these songs you'd love. I do really think you'd like Mean Girls and Beetlejuice too, they're both similar musically, and they just kinda have fun with the source material like how they do with Heathers.

For musicals, I highly recommend the Dolls of New Albion by Paul Shapera. It’s definitely not as well known as any Broadway show, but the music is so good and the story is definitely on the darker side if you like that kind of thing. I do recommend looking up the wiki cause the story is a bit hard to follow. But it totally is worth it.
