At last, letting the tourists know they are a proper regiment of soldiers and there to protect our King and Country. They are not a damn petting zoo for them all, so please start showing respect to all our awesome serving soldiers in the UK. God bless them all and keep them safe. 🙏🫶

When not on active service their role is ceremonial and a tourist attraction. I agree with your notion of respect but that's part of their discipline and soft power.

@paulm5443 I appreciate your comment. Sorry I must admit that being an army brat and a widow to, I have a ton of respect for all serving soldiers and their families it's not an easy life and they seriously don't get paid anyway close to what they deserve.

It's primary role being deep battlespace reconnaissance, rapid assault and fire support, where mobility, endurance and manoeuvrability are important. 431 Jackals are in service with the British Army. An undisclosed number also in service with the RAF and Royal Marines. Used mainly by three light cavalry regiments of the British Army. Reconnaissance trucks are used to SUPPORT the other military personnel and be seen by the public, as brave people risking their lives for our freedom.
