С огромным удовольствием смотрела,как мастера помогают животным и осуждала хозяев, которые довели ослов до такого состояния.Мой папа был ветеринаром и я видела его работу.Когдая жила в деревне,я сама лечила своих коров и телят.У мастера нелегкий труд и они заслуживают уважение.

..... but only on condition that the government of this country (China?) is willing to enact laws for the protection of animals and to establish schools for the education of farriers and vets and that people are ready to learn more (the BASICS!!) about keeping horses/trimming hooves, for example by watching the western (European or US) KZfaq -videos.

That hoof in particular is really rough. Very difficult. Thank you for the translations. It makes a big difference to how I understand the video. I really like the use of a piece of tire on the support. It works nicely!

A crueldade com os pobres dos animais não tem limite. Será que é difícil a um ser humano saber que tem que fazer a poda do casco periodicamente. Sou habitante de cidade e até para mim isso é obvio. Porém deixam o casco crescer tanto que "entorta" o pisar do animal e, pior, ao terminar de podar, querem "corrigir" o pisar do bicho na marra e na hora. Como devem sofrer estes pobres animais.

No veo que tengan crueldad con esos animales. Al contrario, los están curando y les están arreglando unos cascos que por años no han sido cortados. Supongo que a esa crueldad se refiere... que en buena hora ya están siendo salvados.

@@noraremyoyague738 La crueldad a la que me refiero afecta a los dueños de animales que no se podan las pezuñas. Por otro lado, quien está haciendo la poda, aunque está “curando” a los animales, este proceso no puede hacerse “al instante”, sobre todo después de un largo período en el que las articulaciones de los animales se han adaptado a las pezuñas anormales. Pretender corregir la pisada del animal en el momento en que "corregió" la poda no me parece una forma adecuada de "cura". Imagino que lo ideal sería hacer la poda, y seguir durante un tiempo la evolución de la pisada del animal, sin someterlo a esfuerzo, para que se produzca el retorno de las articulaciones y tendones sin causar más sufrimiento al animal.

The sad part is the owner of these poor animals worked them until the no longer could walk, then dumped them on the open market, and let the buyer beware. All they needed was some decent care. The poor donkey continued to provide service for the uncaring owner shame on them. GOD bless all you vets and Farriers.

Will the deformed FROG return to the normal shape now the hooves are trimmed & straight balanced? I love the way Master Du cuts the hooves so easily to get the right shape & twists removed.

It is obvious that these people have never heard of a hoof pick let alone use one. If they were to clean the frog and hoof regularly the hoof would not grow so long and encase all the dirt and straw in the hoof and make it so painful for the poor donkeys.

This country (China?) seems not to have schools for hoof care and no laws for the the protection of animals (and of course no prosecution). -- These horse people don`t know the basics and neclect their equines. "proper tools" can't be used over there because hooves grow and grow and grow for many years and our (European or US) hoof tools could not be used here. If you want to see more of these videos, enter "overgrown hooves- donkeys".

А как такие животные живут в дикой природе?... Ведь кое где еще есть дикие ослы, а в прошлом были мустанги... Более того: На сколько я знаю, лошадей подковывают именно потому, что копыта слишком быстро снашиваются на каменных мостовых. Я думаю, что вот такие копыта могут вырасти только у животного лишенного свободы и возможности двигаться, постоянно находящегося в стойле или в недостаточно большом загоне где негде бегать и нет камней. И тогда вопрос: Куда смотрит хозяин, почему доводит до такого ужаса? Не следует ли в таких случаях отнимать животное у плохого хозяина? Тем более, что скорее всего хозяин и не может использовать животное с пользой, то есть ему оно просто не нужно. И человеку проблемы, и животное мучается.

They do this because the donkey is sold by weight. Hooves add extra weight and farmer goes home with a little more money, but not much. Not enough to be worth it 😢

@@irenedavo3768 from my travels they r used to help with everything. From working in the fields to a trip into a local village for supplies. Hooves grow slowly so it takes many years for them to grow this big. Many regions in China r very poor. The cost of trimming hooves could be the difference of eating or not eating. Mostly when they get this long they r sent to market to sell. New owners have the hooves trimmed. It’s sad but so is life in many Provence’s in China.

I don’t like the way the staff treat the suffering animals by forcing them to walk while in emended pain and then smack them. You got a thing or two to learn from the American horse farriers.

Ive watched several of these videos and the mules are alway matted, dirty and I feel so bad for them. This mule was beautiful black and seems his fur and coat had been maintained but not the hoofs. Very satisfying to see these precious animal getting some relief.
