@skyak4493
@skyak4493 2 жыл бұрын
@@wilmaknickersfit I don't think the owner of this home can afford it either -he needs to rent it part time to pay the bills. Solutions, not excuses -I like it! I have the money and will not live in a home that puts the bathroom a flight of stairs away from my bed. In another post under this video I pointed out that by volume, the bathroom in this house is large and any rational person would use that upper volume for an up stairs bathroom. But that would be far less impressive in photos and video. The bath in this home is a work of art and it does make sense to just have one bath to clean in a rental. I most envy how easy this home is to clean. I hope I didn't come across as snobbish talking about the cost. There are just sooooo many comments saying "I could see myself living there". I can't help wondering, is it because it's a $7000/mo lifestyle upgrade?

If you were more attentive, you would noticed there were two trees in the courtyard, before the transformation. Thesr two morons, owner and architect decided to cut them down in order to build this hangar. Which, by the way, it looks like a showroom than inhabited. First time that i see a small space/house that actually feels good to live in. Most small spaces/houses that i see either have no provisions for the laundry, the bathroom feels awkward, the living room feels too small and the kitchen is lacking. But this however, the bedroom feels comfortable to sleep in and the study feels good to do things at, the kitchen with the courtyard feels very homey and still looks good, the bathroom looks good as well and actually has natural lighting (i think), and the laundry being inside is quite perfect especially during rainy seasons, the living room is very aesthetically pleasing and doesn't feel too crowded.

Usually my complaint about small houses/apartments with loft bed spaces is that access to the bed is dangerous (particularly if dark, drunk, sick, injured ... or more than a couple years out of school with a banged up knee, lol). I love these stairs! The design is amazing. Sure I'd make a few changes if this were my home -- mostly in the kitchen -- but I can actually picture what it would be like to live there and not feel deprived. Excellent job.

A very interesting and quite good revamp of the original layout, I enjoyed viewing it. I really do think it’s designed for short term living so the architect met the owner’s requirements. You would need to add more storage to live in it full time, which looks doable, but again that wasn’t the stated goal. I do love the Courtyard doors, as well as the new staircase. I’d like to see some artwork on the wall, the esthetic is too minimalist for my taste, but I don’t live there.

This is probably one of my favourite homes. The simple design lends to the allowance of adding your details and everything has enough space. I find that a lot of tiny homes always have one space that is too small, and that is often the kitchen. I feel like the only thing in the kitchen I'd change is maybe having a full-size fridge and a bit more counter space, but that's only because I like to bake. Other than that, this is a beautiful home.

So great to see a video there. This is definitely not my style, but it is ingenious. Although I would definitely not have gotten rid of so much courtyard. I'm not a fan of the trend of having larger and larger homes on smaller and smaller lots. It's nice to see radical floorplan changes though, it helps see the potential in other buildings.
