The 4th-generation Ford Escape gets a mid-cycle refresh with some major changes to the front end and it now includes an optional 13.2 inch infotainment display and a new drivers display (two versions). The 2023 Ford Escape has a starting price of $28,000 USD ($32,849 CAD).
The Ford Escape featured in this video is the ST-Line Select and includes the 2.0L EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine that makes 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.

Escape for me. Better ride-smoother than my '19 XC40. Higher towing capacity (3500 lb with the 2.0L) Gotta tow my boat. And the 13.2" screen- just awesome. For me no contest.

I like your video and your energy! I ordered a 2023 Escape ST-Line Elite, cinnabar red metallic, 2.0 turbo with all the equipment options and upgrades and should be taking delivery on it in 1 - 2 weeks now. Still haven't seen one in person, but my only expected disappointment is the lack of paddle shifters. Other than that, it should be very sexy with the tech and the vista roof!

The Temperature Control Change can also be done via the “VOICE CONTROL BUTTON” Set Temperature at 25°C. Or 82°F. Depending on whether you are in Canada or USA!!

Why are you using Mph and inches in Canada as well as the American Trims? My gawd there's already too many US reviews. I prefer the 2018-2019 models as they still looked like an SUV and not a small car. This Atlas Blue is amazing. I tested the 1.5L and I thought it was great. I just ordered an St Line in Atlas Blue and I am looking at 4-6 months. They should make them in Oakville. I sure wish they offered the Dark Green I saw on a Bronco driving by last week.

I have a 2020 Escape SEL. I love it. It has the 1.5L 3 cylinder engine which get get great gas consumption. No problems so far. I got it at 0% interest three years ago. I prefer North American made vehicles so i can support where I live.

I had to settle out for a used 2020 Escape, I was rather nervous at first about the 1.5L In-line 3 cylinder w/ turbo. But it holds its own! Has more stones than my 2016 Sonata with a 2.4L. The cost is the unreal part, beautiful vehicle and it's a nice marriage of tech and machine but 700-800/mo car payment. Well, you better be walking in there with some cash in your hand, I'd say between $4k-5K. I'm still happy with the 2020 it has a lot of bells and whistles at the SEL trim level.

Great review as always. Went to the Ford dealer few days ago in Providence, RI. No Escapes on the lot. Ordering one averages 4-5 months. Lower trims fly off the lot in a sec. Why Escape? One answer . Power. 250 hp for Platinum and up. Comparably priced competition, run of the mill RAV4, Rogues, CRVs, Terrains are all underpowered with 180-190 hp not to mention 3-cylinder engines.

have a new 2023 Escape. They changed the design of these cars, so they are smaller than the 2022 models, even though they have the same chassis. The sync4, now includes the a/c, fan, and temp controls. I hope nothing goes out on it. The more I drive it, I wished that I had my 2022 model back. The LED headlights are nice, as is the new dash.

no Ford does not fix problems with their cars until the next generation comes out. They just changed the styling and gave it bigger screens to make the tech more competitive. The harsh shifting transmission and the rough three cylinder see no improvements.

You’re the only person to actually make me “ look” at this SUV. Love the exterior color and style of the vehicle. My only hesitation with this vehicle is that past owners have complained about the radio. It will literally shut off at random times. Have to restart the car sometimes twice just to get the radio to come back on..very weird 🧐. Otherwise I actually kinda like this SUV now with the makeover!! 🥰❤️👍🏾

They did fix the engine problem before building the 2020 Escape. I don’t know if you have access to U tube but one of the sites called Ford boss me has a whole lot of information regarding your concerns.

For me, as 2021 model owner there are not too much changes. New infotainment is cool, but... Most lazy and awkward display position. Ford didn't even tried. Biggest like for new design of front lights. True Ford style.

The 2.0 May Pack More Punch BUT, The 1.5 will Save much more Gas!! I have the 1.5 2024 Escape Active And its Fuel Milage is Great combining 31 MPGs in the USA!

The new front end of the escape looks great and the only reason to get one is if you like the styling and if you want the 2.0L motor. Other than than the Sportage, Tucson, CR-V and Rav-4 are all much better options.

Looks sweet. Good job pointing out the tail lights really looks sporty. Looking forward to the comparison video, but I already which one is the better :) Bronco sport has the looks but looses in everything else.

I like the new facelift of the Ford Escape. I do think the advantage of the Ford Escape is the engine choice, the comfortable ride it provides, and the often competitive financing rate you use to get on them. The financing rate now could be a different story after what happened in the last 3 years.

Looks more like a car than an SUV to me. It's nice that Ford seems to give you more, like a leather wheel, power hatch, BLIS, and power driver's seat in just the one bump up from the base. Just the adaptive cruise is missing.

Bad news. I'm almost 5 months into an order for the Escape PHEV. No Vin # or build number has been issued. I had to file my taxes so no Federal or State rebates possible. To say I'm mad as Hell at Ford is an understatement.i have purchased over 10 Fords in the last 4 decades and im NOBODY to them. I'm cancelling the order and keeping my 2020 Hybrid Escape.

So, they put fancy music to enhance the f.o.r.d escape. Let me tell you. I just purchased a Honda crv and love, love, love it. I have had 3 different escapes in the past and everyone had recalls, issues, and miscilaneouse problems. Never own a ford again. They had to change because they keep falling apart.

So what will you have in the end, as a country? dying car production, shortage in salaries and employments, fade of the economy....and all of this I can hear almost every day. But people make the economy worse by their own hands.

Honda HR-V took the whole design from this. Same thing they did with the MDX copying the Mazda CX-9 silhouette, people killed Hyundai for copying but not Honda?

From the doors up, Ford has sucked this car inwards. Seats and steering wheel are so small. No roomier cabin like the 2022's. The length of the car is a lot shorter, meaning smaller engine too. If you get added the sync 4, everything is on it. Heated seats, cabin heat, all A/C, temp's, etc. Let this screen go out and your screwed! The inside of the car looks like cheap plastic! Also, they cost more money for a small car! What a Ford disappointment!
