I’m not a ford guy , I have owned GM/Chevy trucks for over 20 yrs , however my last Chevy was a pile of shit , 2021 gas 6.6 ,burned 2 quarts of oil between 4k mile intervals, electrical issues, brake issues, rear springs made a horrible noise and key cylinder lock up at 58k miles . There is a quality control problem with all brands , I’m in my first Ram 2500 now , so far so good, but it’s still early. Good luck with your truck , I hope it works out for you. 👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏿

Really like the updates on the trucks you previously had on your channel. No one else does that. As a normal consumer it's the 30K to 150K mile reliability that's important. I don't expect to have problems with a new truck.

I have the same issue with the keyless entry with my 23 F-250 XLT. My issue was intermittent however it was enough go make you go crazy. I brought it to the dealership and they diagnosed the issue as the computer behind the dash. It took a month to get the part but it’s getting replaced this week :) keep up these videos coming. Cheers!

All problems that I've never had with my Honda / Toyota / Lexus products. My auto door unlock has worked flawlessly for 14-years and 130,000 miles, even when the battery runs low. And I've never had a fluid leak. Period, Jeez. Ford is making a lot of excuses for poor quality, which I thought was "Job #1"!! I like your review, and feel your pain with these trucks. Good luck fixing them.

I had the same issue with my locks after a deer T-Boned me and I had to get it repaired at the body shop. The body shop couldn't figure out how to fix it and they had me take it to Ford. Spent about an hour there, it was lunch time, and they were able to figure it went into a safe mode shutting down non-essential items. I had received a notification on my phone about this but didn't think anything about it. Probably would have only taken 15 minutes if they had known that. But that was a $400 charge for the body shop to eat on that deal. So lesson learned: don't let your battery voltage go down and make sure when it is changed it is changed with the battery tender type attached so as not to lose voltage! Other than that, over 7K and no problems!

Nearly every Ford I have ever owned has had an initial problem but was fine after getting them sorted out. Here is my list: 2008 Ranger - leaking windshield 2003 Expedition - leaking rear diff where the axle enters 1995 Mustang 6cyl - leaking rear main seal 1992 Ranger - leaking tailshaft on manual transmission

I watched Scotty Gilmer's KZfaq and he had pics of 2023 Ford vehicles in Dearborn, MI. As far as the eye can see. NTSA redlines Ford vehicles for safety issues. The problem is defective foreign-made OEM parts and or assembling the vehicles. This happens when you close manufacturing plants in the U.S. to save on labor.

I'm not one with brand loyalty, as I've had RAM, Chevy and Ford trucks. I had a 2500 Ram with the cummins engine, and the only thing that did not go out of that truck was the motor. We traded it after 12 years as I just got tired of putting money in it. I had a Chevy Tahoe and had very few problems with it. I purchased a 1 ton Ford with the 6.7 Power Stroke in January of 2018, and two fluid leaks shortly after we purchased it, oil pan gasket and rear diff cover. Those were fixed, and we've had zero problems since then. If you go to any Ford dealership near us here in the KC area, most have very few Super Duty trucks on the lot, and they will not deal at all off sticker. The sticker price is just stupid high and I'm glad my truck only has 52K miles on it. Ram and Chevy are offering great deals right now, but I'm going to keep what I have.

Just coming from a Chevy 2500 gasser, going into a ford F-250 7.3. Three years ownership with the Chevy I’ve had many problems with the rear springs and the dealer won’t do crap about it besides replacing the pads over and over. Also the truck never sat level from the factory and told me it was the “Chevy lean” I’ve always ran mobile 1 oil since break in but I feel the 6.6 is a little under powered while towing so I’m hopeful the 7.3 does better. Looking forward to the straight axle too!

Well kind of. The ram I was able to get out and tow with it, it didn't blow me away at all, and after the leak, I lost my tail trading it. Once I bought this one, I went all in. So I'm stuck with working it and seeing what happens. I honestly couldn't afford to dump the ford because of this. I've owned 22 rams since 1988, I was very disappointed in the 24 after towing with it. And everyone voted for another ford. You are correct, all of them can have issues for sure.

Good luck getting those little issues fixed. It’s a real fine looking truck! Age here is 67 and have been buying new vehicles for close to 45 years for business and personal use. Maybe I’ve become hardened over time to mechanical failures of all types from our heavy quarry equipment to our super large Cats. Take it in get it fixed and enjoy that sweet truck, shouldn’t be a big deal. . I’ve owned my share of Super Dutys and Chevs and anyone who tells you there’s a mechanical device that doesn’t ever break down is not telling the truth. We work our Fseries and Chevs hard, real hard and we’re repeat customers for over 40 years. But I guess this is what folks do nowadays….. do videos on everyday life problems? Ford doesn’t give a shit about you as a customer. I had to learn the hard way. I’m mad at myself for going back two more times after the 1992 experience. If anything they have gotten worse. BTW mine is also the 7.3 Godzilla and guess what, not a single problem with the engine yet either. I have however heard several friends that have major problems with their new Chevys and GMC pickups. Ford has been cheap plastic for a while, and gm is owned by china. Ram is by far the best on the market. Even though they haven't revamped much over the year, that might be why they're good. The gas 6.4l since 19 has been fully forged down to the wrist pins and shares a lot with the demon. The transmission in the gas is bulletproof. The diesel transmission in the 2500 is a good transmission that was originally made for the tq in the 5.9l. It's fine if you for the 2500 if you use the tow haul mode when towing and do not jack up the power. It has a single disc clutch in 5th and 6th for smoother operation. When pulling heavy loads, it's not enough they're doing away with that transmission and going to a huge 8sp for their diesels. On top of that, they're going to put a gas-powered 6.7l cummins in it with 350hp and 660tq. All of the tq is available at 1,400rpms and stays at max tq until it shifts. Looks like 2026. That might be the best gas motor for an HD ever produced.

I think part of all these problems being mentioned with different manufacturers is because of the race to have the absolute best power numbers and more and more efficiency. They all, especially Ford, want the most horsepower and torque. They keep getting pushed to get better mileage. Personally, I prefer the utmost reliability over a 1 or 2 mpg improvement. Big, HD trucks are just not gonna get 25 or 30 mpg, period. Also, I’m fine with a few ponies less in peak horsepower to have more reliability as well as more low-end torque. C’mon these are trucks! They seem too hell bent on peak numbers.

No worries at all, I didn't take it bad at all, it's super tall and the tremor style running boards are close to the doors so it's high to get up on those over standard boards which have a 4 inch drop over tremor boards.

All domestic full size pickup trucks are absolutely abysmal for quality. It's always been this way. Dodge has always been the worst by far (I've had a few and am generally a big Mopar fan). Usually Chevy is a bit better than Ford, esp. engines. But they're all bad.

I've had great luck with my 2011 Dodge Ram hemi big horn 4x4. Now had 140K on it. Have only had to replace tires, one rubber brake line, brakes, battery, and driver side exhaust manifold. Truck has been awesome!

So Jim Farley, the CEO, comes out and admits to poor quality concerns at Ford. Then u see guys with 100k Ford rolling around and complaining about quality. 😅😅😅😅😅😅. U made ur bed now sleep in it.

I'm just trying to provide info. Since the chevy did so well last year and keeps going. People voted, ford one the challenge. Not all are having issues, but I'm putting it in perspective for potential buyers.

You need to increase your self appreciation and expect more from ford. Nothing else matters nothing. Get your money back and never buy ford again. Kinda easy when you respect yourself and your hard earned money.

Sell the Ford and buy a Chevy. On TFL truck they said Ford was going to have quality control issues for at least 2 to 3 or so years, I believe it with what your going through its sucks and it's frustrating to say the least.

True, I actually did the Ike G with my 24 6.6 gas chevy before T.f...L and know it's an excellent truck....tons of towing kids on my channel....they did get my videos kicked off you tube for awhile, but I was bosting the chevy all last year before many and its still going great at over 30k miles. I brought the ford back based on votes and to give it one more shot...so far, not so well...lol

What is the story with ford quality control. There sending out trucks with problems constantly. There not able to get there shit together I was just about to buy a 2023 superduty in November and after hearing about all the problems decided it was definitely not worth spending 80k on something that had a good chance of having problems right from the start. Decided to buy a 2017 f250 lariat with 34k miles For 30k cash. Have had it for 4 months and not one single problem Fords loss not mine Hopefully they get there shit together soon

Toyota trucks suck lately too, what do you think. The new Tacoma snapping the front diff, catastrophic engine failures on a pile of Tundras too. For every bad luck story, for every brand, there’s thousands of good stories. That’s the way it is, IMHO anyway.
