Not canceled, altered! Dodge seems like they want to go bankrupt because while the lack of a V8 is due to tighter emissions regulations and not having enough electric models to create an offset, Dodge can still offer RWD as standard and also offer a proper sedan body with a normal trunk and not a tailgate because apparently, not many people prefer it, most likely due to its predecessors having a normal trunk. But at least, AWD and the tailgate can be optional extras, not standard and the only options. As for a V8, let’s all vote for Trump and hope that he will win the next election and become president again since he’s planning to ease all emissions restrictions if he wins. This is why I’m voting for Trump and hoping he will win.

@@lot2196tbh the wagoneers have had serious electric issues since they 1st came out in 21 and even then they still haven't fixed some or some owners deal with it. So it's no surprise it plagued the ev charger and current 1500s now and more or less the rest of the garbage evs they announced/ making.

Not really. Even wagoneers with the 6.4 were buybacks cause the electronic issues were so bad that cars left owners stranded or would be out of commission for months at a tike and back in the shop for something else that went wrong.

I am actually VERY hesitant to buy a 23’ Challenger, it’s not hearsay, I am a NYS Inspector and the issues I have seen are crazy, the 16-early 2020’s seem a bit better 18/19 seem to be the sweet spot but who knows. Just looking myself for a Challenger Scat Pack Shaker that is “stock” to enjoy myself

That's absolutely true... AND, the EVs have electrical issues. Both can be true at the same time. The biggest problem EVs have is the battery itself. heir other "electrical issue" is the security system to keep it from getting stolen...as if that's even a worry.

Stellantis should delay the release of the EV and launch the I6 version first. Infrastructure isn’t ready for these cars and even if it was, Americans want ICE/Hybrids over pure electric cars. MoparInsiders did a poll back in March showing that the community prefers the I6 variant over the Daytona.

I hope it doesn't.... they're literally doing this because of the EPA regulations. Dodge engines are one of the most gas guzzler tax vehicles out there and it's not possible for them to keep producing those types of engines anymore because of the fines.

GM had a lot of problems with the ULTIUM platform. I certainly don’t expect Stellantis to get it right on the first try. Usually it’s the 12 volt system giving these cars most of the problems.

Firstly: ANYONE who's been with Chrysler/dodge/SRT long enough knows their reliability ain't shit. I've had SEVERAL SRT cars and all of them had clumsy, minor issues necessitating dealer service. I had a 16' Hellcat. Remember the supercharger bearing recalls? SECONDLY: The biggest problem with these 400v architecture vehicles is usually the accompanying 12 volt system. Vampire draw and parasitic draw during OTA updates usually kill them dead where they sit - and make them difficult to tow or fix on site. It took Tesla a while to perfect these cars and they still aren't perfect. DON'T EXPECT STELLANTIS to get it right on the first try. The car will work great initially but one day, on your morning routine, it will BRICK ITSELF and demand service.

I think the Electrical issues might be code for lack of customer demand for the EV version. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back until year-end or longer. I also wouldn't be surprised if they bump up the release of the Six in my opinion. We'll see.

I’d rather all the issues now then later on ! Most of us live in really humid climate areas during the summer where it gets well over 90 degrees by 8am all summer so expect overheating issues and charging and software updates that don’t respond same like iPhone type shit

The I6 has a growing issue with a part inside of the thermostat breaking that causes the engine to overheat and blow or cause various issues. Owners are in fact getting the part replace/revised but it's happening to bother versions whether H.O or S.O variants at with 5-20k miles on them. So they're prob revising that issues and delaying it because of that. On top of all the electrical issues that still plague the wagoneer with all the new tech that's stuffed into it also.
