Man, top tier realistic really is just arcade mode with extra steps! Everyone’s fast and has good turret traverse, and thermals are basically just enemy detection with name tags but you’ve gotta unlock them!

Istg most NATO shells are inconsistent af. Same goes to russian armor. Sometimes you can just pen ufp no issues but sometimes u just scratch it. Given all the parameters are almost exactly the same, shell type, angle and distance (maybe +- 50 meters)

no many people say that but what they’re really complaining about is the misrepresentation of the Abrams armor. as far as i know the UFP was designed to destabilize the shells shot at the abrams causing it to shatter or go into the abrams turret armor.

@@Vollpfosten possibly, with DU the armor in certain areas would be increased by 50-80%, the ERA on the V2 would add a hundred or so KE protection (I think), adding the spall liner in the hull and turret, and the A3 round’s anti-ERA properties would make it probably the top dog. It would probably be much better than the Strv 122+ or T90, so they likely will give it a crap DU multiplier and no A3 round

They need to put armor in the fuel tanks and the upper front plate needs to be a ceramic metal like the side skirts. They need to bring back overpressure. So annoying having tools that simply don't work. Abandoning Top Tier until they grow some integrity. I hope they make HESH work correctly for all the damage model changes as every model already had them essentially when spall wouldn't refract multiple times in the damage models.

i feel like it would be more tolorable if the abrams armor was actually modeled correctly and balanced accordingly. as well as every other tank. russian tanks would receive a straight up nerf because of it. I DONT THINK THEIR ERA SHOULD BE BLOCKING AN *ENTIRE* SHELL!
