Finally a stroke width tool. I’ve been waiting for this. Thank you for going over these changes with the version releases. It’s really helpful.

The rapid rate of improvement from Affinity just from 2.0 to 2.5 has been amazing. Having paid for the bundle for all 3 on windows/mac/iOS, I feel like i got my money's worth at least thrice over.

Downloading and installing new fonts is, for some unfathomable reason, something I have always had problems with but you have explained the process so clearly I don't think I will have any further problems, thank you. The variable fonts do indeed look like a lot of fun.

Stroke width tool is very amazing!

The variable fonts look good. They remind me of the old Multiple Master fonts Adobe introduced in the early 90s.

Finally, variable fonts option is a long awaited one. We are grateful.

Finally QR codes. The next feature I want to see is the ability the make fill-able forms. I still create fill-able forms in PagePlus X9.

The QR code tool just cleared up two tabs on my favorites bar.. Awesome The strike width tool is great.. But I could already some what do that in the strokes panel graph..

Great, useful about the variable fonts addition, I haven't got a single variable font on my system ... guess it is useful but obviously not for me. The QR code tool, again, another interesting addition if I ever need a QR code (which is probably zero). Only addition I really liked with this release was the stroke width tool but it is a little buggy and quirky and much of it could have been done with the pressure panel.

Seems like anything Affinity does is amazing

The width tool is great but I really want a smooth tool. The smooth feature isn't effective enough.

I may be being thick, but I used to be able to search in the help menu and it would give me whatever I needed without having to remember what menu it’s under. Now I can’t search, is the feature gone or is it somewhere else?

great video, as always. On a Mac, you can simply double-click on the downloaded/unzipped font (the ttf or otf) and it brings up an 'install font' window automagically.

Something is incredibly wrong with Affinity Photo on macOS after this update - the search field under Help is gone! I can't find anything anymore

Beware! 2.5 has a bug that does not allow any of the Affinity programs to start in some computers. Continue using 2.4.2 until they work out the bug. Hopefully 2.5.1 will be out soon to take care of this bug.

I hope you will soon publish a way to have for shapes for fonts. I'd like to do something like the logo of the band Alabama.

03:57 correction for Windows: just double click on the TTTF. And the font will install itself. Not any need to open folders, transfer files etc.

The stroke Width tool doesn't work with the Vector Brush tool. Not sure if this is a bug or I'm missing something.
