Somebody third party needs to name one of their figures Bobby. Maybe Badcube with a 3rd party Tigertrax. Would be very fitting.

I'm not under the impression that they're attempting to scale with the Legends scale stuff. Their Prowl and Bee both scale with the Legends of Cybertron/Cyberverse 2011/Legion Class figures that are roughly 1/64 or 1/72 scale to match Hotwheels and Matchbox. Nice review though. Definitely going to pick him up.

My favorite Autobot since I was three years old. Not big into the 3rd party Legends scene, but I want him because he's Prowl. Great review as always, bobby!

I can't even imagine caring about scale. He just looks like an adorable, fun toy to play with.

Love how he pretty much matches up to the MP. Im more concerned how it scales to DX9 since thats what Flipper did, and all their stuff is displayed with.

You're right. Size is an issue. Mech Planet, Magic Square and Newage are all doing Prowls at the same time. You know there'll be Bluestreaks and Smokescreens to follow. For preference, I'd support all three companies by buying one of each (much like how I try to avoid MP repaints by buying one Takara and my favourite 3P version for repaint characters). But they're all different scales. I don't think I'll be at all slumming it by going triple Magic Square, though... My legends collection looks like it'll be Magic Square for car robots; Newage for minibots (with some magic square - Flipper scales well with MS Beachcomber, Huffer and Seaspray) and Mech Planet for larger characters whose size can mask the different scale (Optimus and Soundwave, for example). I think Newage would be well advised to go full steam ahead on mini-autobots as their scale risks putting them out of the competition, otherwise. I'd like to see Mech Planet do a Starscream - he'd benefit from the size and I think they could do a really good job of him.

It's a nice mini prowl. It's not in the same league as their ingenious jazz. That thing is a mini masterpiece.

Welll, ain't he cute, ain't he small? I like the overall design, and wished this was more in a deluxe-sized scale, add some some wrist swivels and universal joints int he hips and elbows and call it a day. Crap, at that point though, why not just get the MP Prowl, lol? Honestly, the scale of Prowl to Megatron is correct. And the greater benefit is that he ride around your 2 foot tall Metroplex (not that it is canon or anything), so there's that, haha! Great review Bobby, keep it up!

It's MatchBox sized. I can assume it will go well with the MatchBox's rollercoaster road set. Great review.

I'm kinda in the same boat as Skullface. I bought the Smokescreen repaint of this figure & he is SMALL. Makes legend class figures look big. I really like the figure, but I really wish it was bigger

Yes, it's pretty tiny. But it looks much better than the Magic Square offering.

They don't scale well with the Hasbro or Takara legends line but do good with other KO / 3rd party brands and are on spot with the Sunbow scale guide.

Compared to their Megatron or even to MS Optimus the scale is perfect in accordance with the sunbow scale chart. I've seen you videos about scale but either we're following different sunbow scale charts or there's something else I'm missing because from were I stand you often get the scales wrong. Prowl should be around waist size when compared to Megatron and this one is!!! Ive checked and checked but NA doesn't seem to be missing the scale at all, they are following the sunbow scale chart to a T. Thanks for the review Mr. Skullface.

This is a sexy prowl for the scale. I still think takara knocked the Datsun BOIs out for the MP line. I totally agree with your criticisms of the scale being off. But is the car to scale? Is that why the bot comes out smaller?

This looks amazing and that makes it really frustrating for me since its completely out of scale with MS and Mft figures, so I'm not getting this. Hopefully someone will upscale this or make their own prowl in the right legend scale, I'm sure MS will pretty soon

I just can't get over how much this guy looks like somebody left the MP Prowl in the dryer too long. I'd be really curious to know if Magic Square will continue to do simplified, tiny versions of MP bots.

I’m getting this only as a “one off” since I’m a prowl fan. But all the multiple legends scale is unnecessary.

They scale perfectly with Magic Squares legends.

I think he's the perfect scale, he seems to be the same size as those small Matchbox cars.

I thought the tabs on the back of the feet are supposed to be heels, rotated all the way down in robot mode. Mine hasn't arrived yet but that's what all the stock photos show.

He looks good next to that Megatron. That Hasbro Blackjack is too big next to Megatron. For me this fixes a legend scale problem. All legends scale bots are the same size. I don't want Prowl to he the same size as Megatron, or Optimus. Prowl should be somewhere between 1/2 to 2/3 the size of Megatron & Optimus.

Aw man, I'm gonna have to do some math for this but you might be right on the scale, it's weird tho bc their bee is in fact 1:60 scale in bot mode.

You reviewed the magic square Sideswipe. From your memory, is this guy to short to scale with him?

This too small thing is something I was worried about (especially since a good amount of my pretty extensive legend scale collection is mft), but I'm at 4:05 and you're sayin he's way to small relative to that Megatron. However, without going and taking a look at my collection, that difference in height doesn't seem to me like it's very much off from masterpiece Prowl and masterpiece Megatron, is it?

I really wish this was a deluxe-scale, it'd be perfect for a CHUG collection, better than the upcoming Siege one.

The scale probably wouldn't be an issue for character collectors

These are spot on and more or less a masterpiece mini that need their own shelf or spot in the display case. Team this up with what MFT is doing and it should make for it's own scale collection. The crap hasbro does for this scale is not as appealing in my opinion lacking the childhood fondness looking blocky reminding me of robloks not transformers. Granted the 80's stuff was primative compared to today's game but this isn't the 80's either. Not only that they're kinda fun to transform, you could make a keychain out of a clone flipper if you wanted to.

Another great review. Yeah he looks very cool but as a legends collector he's just too small. Unfortunate i have to pass on this one. I think Hot Soldiers is coming out with a Prowl.

8:30pm here on the other side of the continent finally got some WiFi up in this mud. I thought New Age was Hot Soldiers? Was comparing my Hot Soldiers Soundwave with my Magic Square Blaster and the Soundwave is taller. Think I’ll stick to Iron Factory.

I already have my eye on the 3 pack that Magic Square has coming. So I'm going to pass on this one.

I believe that new age transformers are not made to be compatible to legend hasbro which is far behind to compare to new age lines...I don't have any hasbro transformers anyway I feel crappy for most of them..
