This is my journalistic report from the IWA 2019 from Germany. Without doubt this years show was all about Bullpup's and short / small airguns. I spent 4 days wandering and looking, and these are MY choices of things I like the look of for the future. Please enjoy.

I like the idea behind the Nova Vista rifle,..but if only they would have had a picatinny rail for scope/sight mounting, it would have made more sense for secure scope mounting. Of course this is only my opinion, I might be wrong,...but I doubt it. I really wonder at the old fashioned dovetail scope mounting rail system for air gun use!

Just got my FX impact x .30 cal from UA not long ago. Now gotta start saving up for that mkII impact x in .35 cal. Hopefully does come with slug liner. Is it ??

these are super cool airguns but I'll bet they come with a big price! awhile back i bought a bear river tpr 1200 which is rated at 1200fps and i think i paid about 100 bucks for it. this thing is a break barrel that hits super hard for little money! what i like is i don't have to charge it so when the shtf it will be great for small game. some of these high dollar rifles don't seem to be that fast. i would love to have one of these big dollar guns but I'm ok with what i have

Giles do u realy think the fx compact won't be aloud in the UK even the one with the extended shroud. Wont it be covered under the 30-60 law. Be the sounds off it I better not get my hopes up for one.

Think I said the folding stock version may not fall into the 30/60 rule. The standard compact ( Dreamlite stock ) should be fine as long as its not removeable. I hope to see one here. The FX Impact compact should be fine. Cheers. Giles

That m50 is one ugly looking piece of brown plastic; what a contrast with the quit elegant looking m40. Typical SPA being all over the place stylistically. Wish you would have held that in front of the camera a bit more; cant find anything else about it on the internet; but a semi-auto that I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen with (and unlike the steyr might even be affordable for mere mortals) does sound pretty awesome.
