Other notes: For the last Wednesday of January, we decided to check out this 2910 in New Albany that was installed here last spring. We were actually the first people to discover this unit; in fact, we actually passed by it on 161 as it was still in the process of being installed on March 29th of last year since it only had five of the cells installed at that time. We've been meaning to go here for a bit now but hadn't gotten around to it until this point. I'd say it was about as loud as I was anticipating; about as loud as an average digital 4004 or Vortex facing you, but definitely not as loud as some of the louder 4004's or Vortexes we've heard (including digital ones). Surprisingly, we also didn't feel the sound pressure from this one too much, even from right underneath, at least in comparison to some of the rotating Whelens we've been to. It probably didn't seem much different than the other Whelen omni's we've been to vibration wise, although it definitely felt louder to our ears. My decibel meter read 96.1 dBA from just over 300 feet away, 106.2 from around 230 feet, and topped at 109.4 at roughly 50 feet from the pole. Connor's meter got 113 dBC from standing across the street from it (a little over 100 feet away), and 116 from close to/right underneath. Enjoy!

I thought Dublin was the only one to have this type of siren since franklin county is all 3016s 4004s and vortex sirens

Franklin county is eventually going to install more 2900s like this which are going to replace the 3016s.
