Best review I've seen. I actually might trade in my paperwhite for this kindle based on the size. My dream kindle would be this size, 300 dpi, with warming.

@@imamprayuda kindle 11th gen (basic) is smaller than the paperwhite the paperwhite have 6.8" screen, the basic 11th gen 6.0"

Such a pity that it doesn't come in white. I've had the 10th Gen for about two years (after nearly 10 with the 4th Gen) and absolutely love it still. The change to USB C is a definite temptation. Those fingerprints are not! 😉😉

Such a great review. Too bad I already got the ppw 2021. No regret since it's a great device. But if I haven't purchased the ppw and I'll definitely get this instead, much easier to carry around.

gen 10 owner here... i'm not opposed to my kindle having a little more bezel, one handed holding from behind is a challenge for me, one handed holding from side in landscape mode works - i like kindles with big bezels

Wifi wise, while 2.4 GHz band may provide slower speed, it does go further than 5 GHz though

Just got my first ever kindle 11th gen. I don’t usually read but I wanted to start. Can’t say I ever use to be a reader cause I haven’t. Last book I read was I have no idea. hope this is a great investment cause I want it to be. 😅

I'm having such an issue trying to decide. I'm looking at my first E-Reader. I can get the basic 2022 for $99, but I can also get a 10th gen paperwhite for $50! I just don't know what direction to gooooo.

I have a Kindle 2019 Basic that I take everywhere & the new paperwhite that I usually read at home with. I may trade my 2019 one in for the new basic…. but I’m still not sure 😂

Is the basic kindle paper white 2022 the same size as the kindel 7th gen ? I currently have it and there is NOTHING wrong and I love the fact that it’s so small, but I definitely want dark mode.

Hi, both should be the same size but the paperwhite 2022 will have higher ppi, dark mode, and the blue light filter. The pages will also turn faster. In terms of size, they are basically the same size with the paperwhite being 5mm taller and wider than a 7th Gen but with a 6.8" screen vs 6" on the 7th Gen. You should be able to tell the difference when you use as imo the paperwhite will be a better experience.
