So I downloaded the t Mobile Life app from the Play store and it just asked me to sign in with my phone number and when I sign in with the phone number from the gateway home internet router we have with T-Mobile we don't have any phone service it says T-Mobile Tuesdays in the app but know where does it let me log in with router information or say anything about home Internet

Good Afternoon 12:36 p.m. Afternoonish Std. Nate. Some 5G Routers Do'nt Work In Storage Me Areas, And, Some Of Those Routers Only Have A 10 second span( SEEMS MORE LIKE FIVE SECONDS), TOO DOWNLOAD, THE APP FIRST. I HAVE MEDICAL BATTLES, AND IT HAS'NT BEEN EASY. I SPOKE TOO AND FOUND OUT I WAS TOLD, IT DOES'NT COVER. I NEED TOO LISTEN TOO THIS OVER, CUZ, I DID'NT CATCH EVERYTHING YOU ARE SAYING ON THIS VID, CUZ, I'M TYPING RIGHT NOW, AND, WITH MY MAIN MEDICAL PROBLEM. Not typically, I think they eventually phase out the older ones but its not a hard switch by any means.

It would be nice if T-Mobile Home Internet had a way of turning the gateway Wi-Fi off instead of going to an outside source. There's no reason to have it on if using a mesh system.

So bizarre that when I'd try to disable one of the two wifi bands on the Arcaydan gateway, it seemed it would still transmit hidden wifi channels? So weird!

Keep aiming the antenna to see if it will stay locked on to n41. You can use the hulu app to update IP. See my FAQ playlist.

There will still be a "T-mobile" app for plan/billing/etc like today. Everything else will be combined in T Life.

@@NaterTater Oh ok that doesn't really make much sense I just wish they would combine everything into one App it would be so much better Comcast/Xfinity did that it took them awhile but they finally did it because it's much easier and better for the Customer. It's not enough to make me leave T-Mobile but I just think it would make more sense to put everything in one App.

Unfortunately nothing in here is going to help with online gaming not until we're able to set a static IP address and open up nat types. Some port forwarding would be nice

Correct and those are limitations of tmobile CGNAT network, not the gateway/app.

They continue to force customers to connect to the gateway's wifi which makes it useless for those of us who have the gateway wifi disabled. Why can't we connect via our router administered subnet(s) since the gateway (192.168.12.1) is reachable from anywhere on our subnet(s), i.e. from the connected router?? It's not rocket science.

You dont have to be on wifi. Just need to be able to access the gateway. For example you can use an ethernet to usb-c adapter for Android phone.
