I’m trying to picture this world that the Laundrie family lives in. Brian is supposed to be on the west coast with his fiancé but shows up out of the blue without her but in her car 48 hours after posting about being on the west coast. The parents don’t question this and instead say “hey, we missed you, let’s go buy a camper and do a family trip”. They go on a trip to the park. They come home and police want to ask Brian questions about his missing girlfriend and he refuses to talk. Parents are not at all alarmed about this and so they just decide “well let’s celebrate this taking the 5th with another trip to the park”. Supposedly they return home as a family and then Brian turns around and goes back out camping yet again, this time alone. He doesn’t show back up so they report him missing and rather than going out and searching for him, the parents are just at home doing their regular thing thinking “oh our son disappeared; oh well”. This seems all completely logical and seems 100% like what a normal family would do. At this point, if they locate Brian somewhere else and can prove that the parents lied, they should be charged and forced to pay for the entire cost of the week long search that was done based on the wrong and false information that they provided. Even if the cannot convict Brian of murder, they probably can and should convict the parents as well as bankrupt that family. I think it’s time that an example is set that actions have consequences. We as a country seemed to have strayed further and further away from this and we fail to uphold the laws and values that make us great.

It seems like they have a lot of involvement with the pos lawyer and no interest in helping the fbi or police from the get go just giving them what they have to based on warrant. The parents are definitely guilty but what advise are the given by lawyer and the fact that they meet with lawyer in a separate place other than the home is even more sus

Typical Barney Fife cops. First they leave the door wide open for him to get away, and even when it's well known the Laundries went camping on a certain date, and returned on a certain date according to the neighbors, It would be way too hard to call those campgrounds that are open, and have them check the roster to see if they've been there. You had the Hollywood Fl. cop writing down information on a matchbook when Adam Walsh was kidnapped because he didn't have a pad of paper to write on. 3 Sheriffs at the Orange County jail that didn't search a guy they arrested, then pulled a gun and took 4 hostages including one of the Sheriffs. Just to add. In most cases, it's the public that solves these cases by giving the cops information. Then there's a huge press conference where they all stand around and pat each other on the back telling each other just how great they are. Where are these press conferences now? I don't see that idiot Taylor giving too many updates. I noticed the Moab Utah police Chief decided to take a vacation because the heat is on him now for the botched 911 call. Bunch of pussies. Poor Gabby was a wreck, crying and apologizing and taking all the blame onto her self. Then you had Brian off to the side, also blaming her, but bonding with the cops over crazy girlfriends.
