They are actually NOT blocks of superluminova. They are superluminova applied on top of an applied base made of another material. I still like them, and the overall effect is similar, but they are not true lume blocks.

I tried a black strap with beige yesterday and thought it would be my next daily watch, but sadly, it doesn't offer an open case back or it would be perfect to me.

I bet that looks great, however I think the fact that it has not an open caseback is great given that it’s a field watch and it allows it to be a bit thinner as well. But that’s a matter of personal preference

Why would you want an open case back of miyota? It's not Sinn ETA with golden rotor. Miyota looks too rugged to be shown.

They all look great, the brown is not so my thing personally, I’d rather go with the green. However I’ve had a lot of people say they like the brown!

I don't see why buy these instead of a vintage Hamilton or other vintage field watch.

Because not everyone wants a vintage watch? Because some/many people like the feeling of a brand new watch that they can make their own experiences with. Because these can withstand more than a vintage watch. Because they prefer the looks of this one, you get the gist, there’s plenty of reasons. Watch collecting would be boring if everyone would like the same. Don’t get me wrong, I love vintage watches but it has nothing to do with this video.
