The Miku screams are my favorite part of this song. They played this a few times on their U.S. tour, and it great to see the crowd reaction when she screams.

I may be in the minority but this is my favorite from the Sense single. It is hard, fast, intricate and the hooks are enormous. Their writing skills are seriously on display with all the songs on this single.

I do like Sense, but yes, I like Hibana better. Both are good, though. And Sense was the song that they started most (if not all) of their shows during the 2022 US tour. So for me, every time I hear Sense, I think about that. Sense was the song that announced they were back!

Yes, that is Miku doing the screams. BAND-MAID performed Hibana live during their US tour there are fancams out there. This song was written for a Rainbow 6 Siege National tournament. Trident released this year's song, it's good but I prefer Hibana.

It was deemed a "C-side" probably because there are three songs on the Sense maxi-single. Hence, an A-side (Sense), a B-side (Corallium), and a C-side (Hibana).

Stats show that when B-M did their 2022 & 2023 US tours there were less tornado's. Oddly Kanami took her portable "Tornadon't" machine with her.😏

Honestly, Hibana was a song that snuck up on me. I heard, thought it was okay and thought nothing more. Then after a couple more listens and seeing the live cuts, it shocked me that it rose to my top ten. 👍

So now you have to check out Vladimir Chupin's fancam version so you can hear the crowd erupt in a DEAFENING ROAR when Miku (yes, Miku) let's out that massive scream. I'm not joking when I tell you that the hair stood up on my arm. Gives me the shivers just thinking about it. This is my second Favorite song from Band-Maid and one of 2 songs I hit the repeat button on. I believe the song is named after the Character in Rainbow Six Siege. Hibana means spark, and hanabi means fire works. Hi - fire, Hana/Bana - flower. If you listen to lyrics, it is about a shooting game like Rainbow six Siege. Technically Hibana is the B-side since it comes after Sense and before Corallium in order of the "Single".

One of those songs that I would love to hear in all their concerts. But it is not always played yet to me it is instantly memorable and crowd pleasing. The long note you mentioned is Miku. Just a great song for me on so many levels.

Yep it was for the All-Japan University Rainbow Six comp. Sadly Jk i couldn't be there to participate cos they came up with a silly excuse that i wasn't at University....or Japanese.😔

Great reaction and for vocals, Miku does all the odd vocal embellishments, screams, cat hair balls, coughs, trills, etc. Saiki has said that she leaves that all up to Miku.

Those long screams are done by Miku. Short one at 4:24 is Saiki. The falsetto at 5:28 is Saiki. The quality of their voice is different.

Yes she does at lower register, and Miku does at higher register (literally screams). In this song Saiki also screams but shorter, because she sings the main vocal line prior to that without much breathing space (as usual) ... which people tend to forget.

I could fully explain, but suffice it to say that Hibana was the second song on the flip side of the "A side" single Sense. All this crap doesn't make Sense any more since the 70s when there were just singles, EPs and LPs on actual vinyl.

There is a video of them perforning this song at Eggman Shibuya that is fantastic. This band does not know the meaning of a B or C sides.....they are all A sides
