I adore the fact they’re doing reusable packaging that can actually be used to store the product and for so many other things too! I abhor plastic waste and while they’re still plastic I definitely think they’re a step in the right direction. Also the girl with pig tails really reminds me of Malibu PJ from the 70s. I really hope your family members surgery goes well

I'm also seeing the packaging as pencil cases, make up bags, make up brushes, toiletries when we go travelling put underwear in them. I actually think that there are endless ideas for this. Edit: Rose McIver has been in something called iZombie, so I don't know if that helps.

You know what would be cool? A Barbie Doll with a white cane/guide dog/service dog. The service dog would work for the wheelchair ones too.

I didn‘t catch any fashionistas with the new packaging yet, but what comes to mind immediately to re-use the packaging is stuffing it, maybe sewing a little „pillow“-case to fit it and use it as a mattress/bed for dioramas. I mean, it is the perfect size for a single bed by default, so that would be a good use. And then the bed would also be easy to de-construct again so the packaging can be re-re-used in another way.

These new Barbie Fashionistas dolls are beautiful and the re-useable zipper case for the packaging is a great idea and would be handy for doll clothing and accessories and also make-up brushes or a pencil case. The outfits looks really cool, love the black shirt with Rock on it and the pink skirt with the boots, they all are beautiful dolls. Always love watching your reviews 😍💖

As a white, 30-something woman, I still got a thrill seeing the doll who looks most like me. Number 76 or 78, if I recall correctly. She’s a curvy model, I believe, with dark blonde hair and grey/green eyes.

I am in love with the new packaging. With the cardboard removed the bag almost looks like a little frame. The doll could be stored in the package and used to decorate the kids (my) walls.

I love the fashion packs! They too have reusable package! And the shoes are nice! Not all have shoes but I got the wedding dress and a pack that has a purple hat and pink sneakers! Love it! They are 7.98 at Walmart, both dolls and fashions.

I love that #158 looks like a throwback to the original Malibu Barbie. The cut and color of the shirt look so similar to the Malibu swimsuit, and the fact that the shirt says Malibu. And the sunglasses really make it a cute tribute without it being tacky. This is my first time seeing her and now I want her!

Definitely using these new packages as cases for dolls when travelling. I'm a student and a doll collector and I'm usually travelling with a doll or ten when I'm going between home and uni! Gotta have something to put them in to keep their accessories and shoes on them and their hair neat.

Love the packaging and the mentioning of the made to move barbie ankles breaking off 😣😣 my daughter was heartbroken she broke her wheelchair barbie foot off removing a shoe we tried to get it glued back on best we could but it wouldn't set right for us so now she's in a cast (I made a makeshift cast as best I could) having to use the wheelchair to get around now and we are hoping to find a new made to move barbie after Christmas for her that isn't the same wheelchair one

I love these cases. Wheelchair dolls don't come in reusable packaging but their packaging is pretty minimalist. I'm loving it that Barbie/Mattel is the socially responsible brand. Inclusive and diverse dolls of many colors, sizes, and ableness, and now responsible packaging. I think blue lipstick is pretty. Her outfit is cute but she might redress better in something 60's or 70's style. I'm with you on the funky yoga pants. I love them. Like you I also love #161 and her outfit. She's gorgeous.

Okay just spent 100 on barbies and fashions on amazon. Got 3 barbies 155, 158 and 159. The others are sold out or prices went higher so I’ll wait for 156 and160. Also bought 7 new Barbie fashions cuz they were so cute and 2 are by Roxy which I love cuz I collect Roxy in general. This was very informative I went to Walmart they still had older fashionistas and last years fashions in old packaging. I do like how you mentioned using the Barbie box for Barbie clothes. I have most in ziplock bags and 1000s more in a huge storage container. I think it’s a fabulous idea using the cases for clothes and or accessories or put maybe a older aka vintage dolls in the case. My kids just won a Christmas gift each from the USO. I am SOO freaking excited! My husband is deployed, on top of this dumpster fire of a year, I'm so thankful to them. And so excited my kids will get alittle extra love since we're on the opposite side of the country as our family. On top of their dad being gone. I literally just found up which I guess is why I'm commenting this. And I know if they have any dolls my daughter is 100% going for them! She loves her dolls so much 🥰

Don’t stress, I’m sure everything will work out! An by 4 in the afternoon I’m in bed or ready for bed! But we do get up at 4:30 in the mornings.. anyway I’ve use the bags for my own make up.. any way try not to stress.. an stay safe.

Suggestion: if you want to travel or go somewhere and you want to take a doll, you can carry them in that reusable package.

Love love love the packaging! Finally another reason to buy dolls. I feel like the fanny pack would look great with the blue lip doll. It seems to be the same color as the shoes and I feel it would fit that aesthetic better. I think the packaging would make an easy stadium "clutch" since it is see through. I'm not sure if a person could fix a strap on it somehow but I'm sure there's a way.

I was lucky to order #157 off Amazon before they took her down and just sold by third-party sellers, and I LOVE her. The cactus thing is admittedly a little weird, but I tied it around her waist like a belt, and I really love her face and hair. I collect the thicker fashionistas, and she is a gorgeous addition.
