When they showed the voice actor of Batman before the trailer came out I was worried that he was not going to sound good but he pulls it off quite well I will definitely be watching this

The trailer was ok to me. I just hope that if The Joker shows up in a potential season 2, that he wears his golden age or first appearance costume. I also found out that Renee Montoya will have a relationship with Harley Quinn in the show too since Bruce Timm talked about it in an interview.

Tbh...knowing female nature, Bruce is the Typical Man A lot of women chase after. He's over 6 feet, good looking, stoic AND Rich, women say they hate toxic masculinity but chase after those kinds of men all the time. AND Bruce is rich...it just makes sense even though she's way younger, women date and chase Men UPWARDS above them

Ok so just to go over these nitpicks 1st: that was a Knuckle taser not a regular taser, and before you say “nobody used those back in the 40s” let me just stop you right there this doesn’t break the show’s time as you’ve pointed out multiple times This is like getting disappointed with Gotham by Gaslight for having Bruce riding a motorcycle or BTAS for using the 40s noir style in Gotham despite the fact it’s supposed to be set in 90s. 2nd: TV was invented in the 20s but was available in the late 30s and 40s folks just used it to watch limited series like the News 3rd: No that trailer music isn’t going to be in the show as it’s a KZfaq song which was used for hype to set the mood The shows composer will be the same one who did Beware The Batman and GLTAS. I’m not trying to start shit as we may have had small arguments in the past but I still respect you and your wife based off nostalgia and thinking you two are good people. That’s all…

I never knew that there was a fat version of Alfred I guess because I was born in the end of the 90s, so my version of Alfred was always from the animated series when boomerang would do reruns of the Batman animated series

I think the trailer was good, I need to see more, of Batman. I love the voice actor of Batman, he has that grit, I love the batmobile. One thing I have a problem about if it's clay face it makes sense why is his face like that. Harvey no that's just the laziest designs they could have done the dark knight style of two face. Not to be off topic here. I assumed you commented this in your let’s play channel, but how’d you felt about the passing of Arleen Sorkin? The original voice of Harley Quinn of course. I know you made a video dedicating to Kevin Conroy, but I figured you have some stronger thoughts on hers too. I was just curious. Even I wanted to know where your headspace was when Jason David Frank passed from the perspective of being a Mighty Morphin purist. As for the show, let’s just hope we really have sincere good writing. I don’t dislike anything I seen from the trailer. Just need to see more.

Yeah…they never said this show is “set in the 40s”. Bruce Timm said it’s 1940s *inspired* meaning they’re taking the aesthetics (such as lack of computers, smartphones, or any advanced tech normally portrayed in Batman media) of the 1940s and putting them into the cartoon to make it feel like that time period. BTAS did almost the same thing, the way people dressed, the cars and the overall esthetic was also inspired by the 40s. I really do hold you in high regards, but you’ve said a lot about this show that I really disagree with. Regardless of that, I hope you’re well and I hope you have a great day!

I have a bad feeling Bruce Timm is gonna shoehorn in a bunch of bad romance plots for Batman. Harley Quinn being his psychologist, Barbara Gordon looking MUCH older than she is in the comics (and I bet that's McKenna Grace's voice), and Catwoman. But Catwoman will be fine. Let's just hope it's just Catwoman.

They're actually was electric gloves that could taste somebody back in the 1930s it never caught on but they didn't start using tasers until the 1950s you're right about that it was a weird prototype that they had back in the 1930s

That took place in an alternate 90s reality that combined 40s Clothing, Architecture and weapons with 80s and 90s tech. By the Red sky series they more or less dropped the 40s style to modernize Gotham to match Metropolis and other DC Cities in the DCAU.

Also from what I hear, they made Alfred thin because of the 40s Bat-man serials that played in theaters, Alfred was thin in them and they changed his weight in the comics because of that, giving a explanation that he was at a health camp and lost a lot of weight there.
