Looks like a nice rig Gavin .Great for the price for a new person to get into the PRS game . I run a 6xc that is a very small amount larger than the GT . I am having good success with N-150 and 109,115 Berger’s.The 115 DTACS seem to prefer H-4350 for me

Late to the party here, but I've been having a ton of success with the Berger 108 BT Target bullets, pushed by 36.8gr H4350 to an avg 2,920fps. Very low ESSD (sub20, sub10), consistent sub-0.5MOA 5-shot groups. This is out of Defiance Tenacity w/ 26" Proof barrel (Area 419's).

I have the Bergara B14 BMP "Bergara Match Precision" in 6.5 cm, it's one of the most accurate rifles and finely made that i own. Bergara makes some of the best barrels in the industry.

Would love to try that one. I have a Bergara BMP B-14, which is a Ruger competitor. I've taken it out to 1000 yards and shoot pretty often at 350-500 yards. It does that easy and shoots great groups. I can't imagine how much of an improvement this would be.

I have been shooting a Premier Comp in 6GT for 3 seasons now and absolutely love it! I've mainly been shooting factory loads but have had some great luck loading as well. When components were sparse i started using 6.5 Sta-Ball with the 109 ELDMs and it turned out to work pretty decent.

@@camonly849 6 GT has less recoil, better barrel life, and is very forgiving to load for vs 6CM. The slightly slower speed also makes tracking the trace easier.

H4350 and Berger 105's through my 26" proof 1:7.5 yields .33 5 shot groups pretty consistently. Velocity was at 2875 with 37.2gr of powder. Ambient temps were 55 degrees on average.

I have a bergara premier competition in 6.5 creedmoor. Funny, I also have the Athlon Ares Etr 56mm scope and an EC tuner break. I had to take off the night sight mount to allow a sun shield on the scope. It has performed at .5 or less moa. Nice Rifle

Try reversing the top of the night vision mount, it’ll allow the length of the scope a bit and doesn’t look too out of whack

I've just got into shooting prs/hunter matches. I've been chasing this 6 gt quite a bit. I shot my budget savage 10T with Athlon helios 6-24x56mm in .308. It was alot of fun and I hit some targets. After a cpl matches though I've come to the realization I should upgrade my gun. Awesome video! Although it would be awesome to build my rifle the bergara has alot of perks for the price, and is on hand to purchase with no wait. My future goal is to be able to chamber a barrel, thread both ends, get an awesome action, and put it in a stock of my choice! I had the awesome opportunity to learn the mill and lathe in my highschool machine trades classes.

I recently tore down some Eagle Eye Precision (factory) 105 hybrid ammo, and it had 33.5gr of what looked like either N150 or Reloader 16. It shot okay in my new Krieger barrel for my AT-X, but with just a slight tweak in seating depth was throwing sub half minute groups.

Just got through my first ladder test for 22GT using H4350. 2-3 Charges had SD under 10 and outta 9 groups the biggest was 0.841"

Hey I have just seen some reviews of the Remington cdl in 243 with a1:8 twist. It would be really interesting to see a series on this rifle with a range of bullets and compared to the new breed of 6 mm rifles. I like the look of the Bergara.

35.0 gr of RL16. Very consistent at 2846fps. 35.6 gr RL16 at 2870 is another speed node with low sd and small groups. Also 34.5 gr H4350 hits the next slower speed node around 2825fps

After owning both a Tikka CTR and now a Bergara Premier, the Bergara action smokes the Tikka action. Easily. Bolt lift is SO much lighter and working the action is just as smooth, all without having to deal with a Tikka only footprint when it comes to aftermarket accessories. The Premier actions are also made in Georgia to a very custom action level of quality.

Gavin, I would try speeding it up a little. I am running the Berg 105’s with 32.6-33.0. These puts me around 2850 ish with 26” barrel. .3’s are the norm.

I have 3 Bergara rifles.. 270 B-14 hunter. 30-06 B-14 hunter and 6.5 PRC Premier Ridgeback.. All will shoot a 1/4" group.. Probably gonna get the 6GT now..

For 105's and varget you'd be looking to go up to 33.5-34gns. Seems like most folks prefer to run the slightly heavier 109's to get in that 2850fps node. I'm just a random internet guy who runs a straight BR though, so take with a grain of salt.

105 hybrid and 35.6gr H4350 (alpha brass, cci450 primer) gives me 2920fps average from a 1-7 twist Kreiger barrel

Why not just get the mpa rifle for about the same price and have a lot more caliber choices. You will have to wait for it but my mpa was well worth the wait.

I think this rifle will be great for new shooters that maybe don’t have a mentor in the sport to guide them with a rifle build, and this is an awesome rifle for someone who doesn’t yet reload.. for a new shooter, especially someone without a strong rifle background the idea of calling MPA and ordering a rifle is a bit overwhelming, but the idea that you can walk into Scheels and order this rifle will be very appealing to new shooters

I 100% agree. I'm not paying 2700 dollars for a bergara in an mpa chassis. Bergara makes a nice factory rifle but not worth the 2700 price tag with 3 caliber options.

Was considering the Seekins Havak HIT Pro before this came out. Really liking the Bergara in the MPA chassis. What are your thoughts between the two Gavin? Wondering how robust the Seekins switch barrel system is. And yes, Absolutely 6GT all the way

Have you ran full 10 round magazines without feeding issues in this Begara?? PRS shooters are having 6 GT feeding issues despite ‘marketing’ for feeding easy button. What is the best 6GT feeding setup for AICS format? Also looks like you had ejection issues in video? Thanks

They make both in the rifle. They chamber it in 6.5 creed, 6 creed, and now they just added this 6gt.

The Creedmoor is a barrel burner, somewhere in between 1/3-1/2 the life. GT has less recoil, uses less powder, and is much easier to tune. However, outside of PRS style competition there is no benefit to GT.

@@FC2ESWS 6 creed was an option. 6gt from the Facebook groups and the forums I’ve seen doesn’t burn a barrel as quick as a 6cm, and the GT has a sweet spot with 32-34 grs of varget or h4350.

The 6GT is essentially a lengthened 6 Dasher (helps it feed out of a standard 308 AICS magazine).

Doesn't seem like an authentic, objective review when you ignore the feeding issues you showed on camera. I give you credit for not editing out the failure to eject the brass but it needs to be addressed in a $2500 rifle.
