Great video!! As a noob, opening up BF is extremely overwhelming. This helps give me a better understanding of what does what. Even though I don’t understand a lot of what you guys are taking about, it gives me a foundation to start with, and something to work towards.

Props out is better. For many more reasons then personal preference. Also highly recommend dynamic idle.

My iflight nazgul evoque does not like BF 4.3 with default settings. The motors made weird noises and were a bit hot. I had to adjust the pids and filters a lot, to make the motors sound smooth. Still ongoing too.

Motor stop while armed; Air mode overrides motor stop. So if you have air on a switch and turn off air your motors will stop. Switch air on and motors will not stop. I use this for landing. No air mode bounce, and I don't have to disarm to stop the props while landing.

"Resource motor 1 b01" is not that complicating of a cli command. But I do agree that 4.3 has some nice new functions.

My little 2 cents 'Rxrange 3 989 2009' in the CLI to correct the throttle stick being off. Almost 20 percent deadband as standard on betaflight..

I didn't hear you say that doing a full chip erase will also wipe your previous config. SO you should always make a diff file so you can reload the previous config.

I am the guy that gave the devs the kick to release 4.3 because I fly helicopter and want the TPA with p gain on my helicopter's tail because TPA-with-only-I-gain is too slow to respond to the tail.

I have Diatone roma F722 and the radiomaster tx16s and tbs crossfire nano pro reciever which is binded to the drone. the first day I set everything up and it worked but then I came back to the betaflight and it is several days ago and since no matter what I did it is not recognising the reciever. anyone who can help me with this problem when i fly my fpv drone it flies perfectly when the nose is pointing away from me but when i try to fly back (with the nose pointing towards me) the controls suddenly become inverted and i think its because the drone thinks its still facing away from me. all controls are inverted left=right right=left forwards=backwards backwords=forwards how do i fix that?

I just got a BNF iflight nazgul evoque (crossfire) , today I wanted to set it up and take it to the sky for the first time.... I got the DJI V2 goggles bound and working , got my BetaFPV RC with a crossfire Nano tx modul working and I got the drone and the module bound and updated (constant green) , now i wanted to make the settings needed to arm the drone and stuff and realized that even my radio control and drone are bound , I don't get ANY input of the rc in betaflight, I was asking several guys , they told me the stock settings of iflight should be fine (considered they didn't mess anything up building the drone) so what could it be? Maybe the RC is broke ? Can anyone help me ? Would really appreciate it! Thanks 😁✌️

Recently built myself a drone and was led down the garden path so to speak. I'm using a zues 722 flight controller and got it all wired up and it worked perfectly, on the 7 th flight got what to keen and crashed , broke the frame so built another frame transferred everything across and went to start it and it wouldn't even arm itself , the guy at the shop doesn't want to know about it and said betaflight will solve it , so without any idea what I was doing downloaded the configurator it opened up and said flash so I just pressed go and now I find out there are different versions etc . It has got to the point where I'm going to throw it in the bin and just buy one. What an absolute head f##k . Is there someway or someone in perth that can help . Please

36:35 I wholeheartedly disagree with the spinning up fast bit. While it doesn't hurt the motor persé, it's not something I'd be telling beginners. Short bursts of power should be handled fine, however some motors are specifically designed to be cooled with prop-wash coming down on them. WIth a motor static on a bench without a prop on it the enammel wires in the motors might overheat and short it out. I've had it happen a couple times with EMAX LS 2207's. If you slip with your mouse or anything in that setup window it might leave the motor stuck on a high PWM value leaving it ramped up longer than you intended.
