Coming back to this video…. Awesome tutorial! I need to reset to stock settings and do it again to lock in knowledge (muscle memory). 37:43 when you took it outside: you did change your rates back from 250/250 to whatever YOUR rates you fly? Sorry, just helping other followers understand what’s going on.

You have 3D info a bit wrong, I was flying FPV in 2012 when the Cinematizer launched. no glasses had receivers in the early days and using multiple receivers had been common for a while. You would use 2 receivers to turn you antennas to face the UAV and a third in the center to receive the signal you used. This was all on a tripod next to you. We got better transmitters, better receivers and 3D HDMI interfaces all around the same time. We had to convert the signal already, inputting 2 singles to get 3D was pretty simple compared to where we had come from. It stopped because cell phones made micro components like giros, accelerometers and barometers cheap and available. This made "small, cheap" quads realistic. Not small or cheap by today's standards but compared to where we were. the smaller platforms required the simplification and weight management that followed and so 3d faded out. I stopped FPV in around 2014 after losing a £7k plane over the North sea. It was a real pricey hobbie in those days. I just started flying again and the simplicity of FPV today is fantastic.

They were scoring, not playing. We put a lot of love and effort into this competition, and judging was treated with respect. At Rotor Riot we love @MerKFPV, a fairly new FPV pilot that came in with pure FIRE. He and ALL the contestants have great stories and are amazing pilots. We were happy to share our platform with them and thankful for their participation in our competition.

@FPVMama I know I was making a joke... really I died a little inside when I couldn't go....I missed Joe call this year as well... I yearn for flying with a group of people I always have to fly solo and I'm only like 30 min from orlando..just dint know any fpv pilots

I still can't get over the fact that 600 dollar entry fees and they are a huge manufacturers of frames and products and distributor and they just gave out a bun of printers that were donated by bamboo...toss out some goggles or air units or motors or gear that breaks alot...most of us have printers already... but those bamboo printers really print high quality flawless prints in less than half the time of a ender 3 or 5
@CRICKETFPVКүн бұрын
The amount of parts that were given away was insane . At one point i was literally tossing goggles into crowds of people lol.
@FPVMamaКүн бұрын
We gave away about 60k in sponsored FPV parts from our amazing partners. Including stacks, motors, batteries, goggles, bnf drones, ND filters, accessories... the list goes on and on. We're proud to have gotten a non-fpv specific partner to invest in our hobby and event. Literally 10% of the guests that bought pilot passes left with a Bambu Lab printer worth between $250 to $1600. And, entry started at $100 for Spectator and $350 for Pilot Passes.
@austinspired5 сағат бұрын
I was happier with the printer than I would of been with parts. Not to mention I got 12 frames and 12 sets of motors, so the 3d printer was extra. But I have my own part sponsors and so do most of the guys in here. I would of had to bust out close to 2k to get what I got printer wise though. 😊
