I ran a 1250GS for two years and now on a 19 plate Gen2 GT, the two engine characteristics couldn't be further apart, I find the KTM to be raw adrenaline on tap and excitement every ride, but found my GS to be somewhat muted and felt like a passenger when on rides, lacking engagement factor and front end feel from the telelever, eyeing up a SAS currently as wouldn't mind a more 'roomy' bike, but can't walk away from that LC8 as its quite frankly the most fun engine in any bike I've ridden or owned, and that includes a 1260 Pikes Peak Multistrada, and don't get me started on their fuel range/sensor issues...
@DSR1YT

I almost got the SAS before putting my money down on the GT, maybe if I had done that I wouldn't have had any issues and id still be on team orange. I sure did go through mike. I haven’t ridden the RS yet, maybe its a possible bike for the future. But ill get some miles on this machine first before chopping it in any time soon ( he says).

Welp, it was either this or the XR and you said not the XR. I now have my 1290 SDGT, hopefully without issues in the future, got 1 year used warranty with it just to be sure 😂😂 Can't go wrong with a BM, but between the SDGT and the XR I hope the GS can do everything as excitingly as you'd like it to! Looks great in the HP colours with the gold wheels 👌

My fingers are crossed for you and your GT journey, they are great bikes, as long as they stay working. It will be missed, but I’m looking forward to my time with the BMW. I love this color combo too, now just time to buy some luggage.

@D.S.R. Thanks, same to you, its a 2020 with 8k miles, no issues so far, as i said in an earlier video the hope is that if it survived this long without issues i doubt anything will come up.

@@AntaresSQ01 That's partly why I went the second hand route. You hope the gremlins have been ironed out for the previous owner :)

I really want to say a boring choice but the truth is there is a good reason why they sell so many of them.. I tried the 1250rs and thought it was such a classy bike but couldn't justify nearly 20k

So for the UK GS and GSA are the 2 best selling motorcycles in the top 10, first 5 of the top 10 were all mopeds/scooters. The bike surprises you with how well it moves and handles.

Another tractor - hope it works out well. Sadly, it seems to be hit & miss often - Then again, there are many people out there with good experiences with the boxer.

This tractor is comfortable and handles nicely when flowing through nice windy roads, I'll take it haha. Hopefully I won't need to be changing this any time soon.
