Hey nice project!. I had a pitch expert myself and did the following upgrades. 1. Rockshox recon 100mm solo air 2. Tires butcher & slaughter 3. Trail specialized Handle bar 780mm The Pitch transformed into an amazing machine. Good luck with yours.

@@fernandomunguia17 no, all pitch are 1/8 tube. You can go for Rockshox Recon its a good choice.

@@marshallm.7709 mostly depends whether you want 27.5" or 29" wheels. My gf really likes her pitch for the type of riding she does (XC trails, smooth single-track) and it has been very reliable, besides the fork being pretty awful. If you want to do any aggressive riding I would look for something slacker with a 1X drive train

Bro I have the same exact bike with the same exact color. I am not picky about bikes and I absolutely love using it. I also put a rack on the back of it so I could commute to school with it.

Specialized lists it as a trail bike, I think it is one since XC bikes dont have tires that wide, and the geometry is 100% not XC, but nice video! I might get one too!

I have one and I definitely reccomend it. I got a more higher end one. Worth every penny. I got mine from a bike shop at discount from 700 to 650.

How difficult and expensive do you think it would be to convert that to a single speed? I really like the geometry I'm coming from a BMX / dirt jumper background. Agreed I would want to put a dropper seat on that as well it's way too high to bunny hop right now and I am 6-3

Get a 150mm dropper post, it's a cheap build but it'll be well capable, I'll be installing a slx 1x11 drive train soon

I've been thinking about getting this bike. At my local bike shop it's going for around 450. I'm looking for something that's decent quality and durable that'll last me for a good few years, it's mostly going to be used for riding along the canals and around the city. Maybe too and from work if the weather's good enough. but I do hope to take it on some trails aswell but nothing extreme just some country routes. is this a reasonable bike for that kind of use or is it too much?

I bought the 2018 pitch sport brand and i used it for the same thing. It is not too much and it will suit your needs perfectly and definitely put a dropper post on it.

Hi, i also have the same bike and i was wondering if i can upgrade this to deore xt m8100 groupset.. im worried about the cassette thst needs a microspline hubs. Can the frame handle it?

There are some off brand 12 speed cassettes that will fit a regular ng hub

Looks like Specialized has discontinued it in favor of lower priced Rockhopper models. You might be able to find a great deal on one now.

I'm 5'9 medium 27.5 feels small para skin, but medium 29er is swak na swak, so 27.5 Large mas ok and 29ner medium 👌, that's just me, iba iba katawan natin
