Thank you Marcelo for letting us be a part of this black belt ceremony. It was beautiful. Being a MGIA member on and off for the last 3 something years I have such respect for Dominyka and Jon. Marcos was an inspiration for me as well. The first time I saw him roll with Marcelo I was floored by how good he was. Not to mention his hands were duct taped like a boss. Congratulations again to you all.

You know, watching this ceremony is so inspiring to watch people's lives change. I'm 54 years old and started training 3 1/2 months ago and it has already changed the way I feel and interact with the world around me. Marcelo, thank you for sharing your life with the world. In my academy, the new black belt starts with a white bar and only gets the red bar after completing the instructors certification.

I took off 16 years. I was a blue belt in 2002 returned in 2018. But i was so intimidated that I just wore a white belt. Totally different school and affiliation from when I quit. Its hard but rolling is tons of fun
