Having said that if you get a high-quality router like the Netgear raxe500 you should not have any issues with latency. Just make sure each speaker is on the same 5ghz channel. If you mix them between the 2.5 and 5ghz that can also cause issues. Also when possible use hdmi earc connection to the tv. @@JbTechFanatic Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I guess my best option is to get a new TV that has Dolby Vision/Atmos with earc to get the most out of the soundbar. In the mean time the optical connection works well without grouping with the BOSE 500. 🙏

Of course, anytime 😊 sounds like you have a great setup regardless. But that is what keeps tech new and exciting looking forward to a new tv sound system etc. But even with optical, you should still have a great sounding system that hopefully can bring you lots of enjoyment for years to come if you choose. FYI… I did more test and here are the results: No audio sync problems if I group the SB600 with BOSE Smart Home speaker 500 using iPhone Air Play (play music or KZfaq from my iPhone). It sounds great by tuning the BOSE Home 500 to emphasize the bass. The other two BOSE speakers Grouping connections (app) have lip synch problems with the TV: - Using Optical cable and WiFi The audio is not in synch between the two speakers plus lip synch problem - Bluetooth using Amazon Firestick The Audio is synched perfectly between the two speakers but lip synch is way off even when I set to different Audio Synch delays in the BOSE music app.

@bkk-boy what this means is the router is not fast enough so in the future you can also upgrade or just use what is working is fine also 😉

The 900 is longer and heavier but if your mounts support it there should not be a issue. You might have to adjust your width a bit. Also make sure those upfiring speakers are not straight under your tv. Also here is the 900 video for more information kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mc6ep9t-yK61nY0.html

Yes they output sound with wifi music like KZfaq music. But you can actually adjust this however using the height channel in eq settings during play.

The bose ultra is the latest soundbar and I was going to review it. However it's the exact same thing as the 900 with new software for Ai dialog. However I found zero difference in the two bars. The next video will likely be on the new bose ultra earbuds until a truly new bar arrives.

So my settings and set-up will in this video will apply 🙂 when this happens it allows cheaper parts and possibly different software and partnerships in the future. This is going to be geared more to the partnership with Costco and what price point they want to offer dictates the details not seen. But Should be just fine 🙂

As even if you get some sound it will not be something that sounds good. Bose blocks using software and These systems are only made for the 500 or 700 bass modules. If you do decide and want to get a 500 bass module check the bose ebay store the often sell it as low as 250 for refurbished. It will come in new packaging and have a 2 year warranty typically. The unfortunate part is Bose didn't add a extra HDMI port to bypass the projector. Otherwise you would be able to buy a streaming stick or something that supports atmos and then directly plug it into the soundbar. There are other brands that do this like Samsung. But as long as you're projector at bare minimum puts out 5.1 Dolby surround sound you will still have a great experience. Keep in mind that the device must be able to process and support the format for the arc to process any type.

What do I do to stop the sounbar turning on with tv I turned cec of in app and thsoundbar won't put any sound out amd the reverts back to tv speakers also I press the source button and it shows tv and Bluetooth when I press Bluetooth it asks to pair again. I don't want to press the wrong thing.

@angelus388 In your TV go to sound then sound output and select HDMI. The bar must be powered on with the source set to TV on the app.

I feel they are because to calibration mode (Bose TrueSpace space technology) takes care of your environment and the rest is just to enhance. Only thing that changes for me is wall mount mode on and off. And whether i use voice and bass module. well only at night when the family is sleeping 😉

The Bose 600 features 5x full-range transducers Enclosure: Bass reflex. TrueSpace upscales 5.1-channel and stereo content. For the size of the bar it performs great with bass but of course, will never compare to a Module
