This is the first time I've actually seen the doctors giving Damar Hamlin CPR. During the broadcast they didn't show it. The doctors and trainers were great that night! They are the true heros!!

Almost a year later and I still cry when I watch this. Damar Hamlin brought a country together that day with his medical event for a brief moment, football stopped, and humanity took over! So glad to see he is okay now! #3 forever, respectively, from a SF 49ers fan!

This is a year later and I never actually watched the video. As a cardiac nurse I have administered CPR multiple times. There is no greater feeling than participating in saving someone’s life. So very proud to be a medical professional. Wonderful to watch this a year later and he’s doing just fine!!!

Honestly the bengals staff, players, and most fans minus the douche in the video were nothing but a class act. Between both teams watching that happen I couldn’t imagine the fear. @@LizAya22 it’s not only the compression depth they get wrong in movies, it’s the entire process. It’s one thing not to compress a chest to the right depth… but to get the rate and rhythm wrong makes it hard to watch for anyone with training. I recently watched the movie The Abyss… the CPR scene completely destroyed the immersion for me. Probably the worst CPR I’ve seen in a film.

As a bills fan last year was a tough year for them. In September their te Dawson knox brother died at 20 years old. The city of Buffalo had a blizzard that killed 25 people. In May of that year 9 people were shot to death in a supermarket shooting in buffalo. They had to change venues from a home game to an away stadium because of snow and this. The team was never the same

I prayed so much during this... I've never quite felt like that before this.... i felt scared for this young man. All of his team was crying. I wanted to be there just to pray with them. Then once they finally got him stable enough to get in the ambulance, the Bills prayed together. Damar did bring this country together. Damar is such a special young man to me. God bless everyone working on him here. These people are true heroes.

Someone saying that they stopped during it! You have to do your number of compressions and then you to see if person is responding to them! That’s why pushing stopped! I once had to do CPR on a patient when I was working night shift in a hospital! But unfortunately man was already in blue stage. But you have to give it a try! He didn’t survive!
