Getting Jeet's Skoolie Conversion ready for spray foam in one months time. We had to go pick up all the sheet metal and tube steel which will give us the ability to sheet the side of the bus and install RV windows. This bus conversion is talking a while to get going but as we all know it changes quick.

FINALLY!!! Some one is doing the windows the RIGHT way, instead of screwing or riveting in premade blanks. Like when Mike took the time to “weld” every screw/rivet hole closed but put “premade window delete inserts” in by screwing them in the empty openings! Also while I’m on it: NO ONE uses the inside rear view mirror to ACTUALLY drive with (they were never designed for driving/backing up, they were used to watch the students/passengers while driving) so why does no one ever “delete” the windows in the rear doors!?? Like Tractor Trailers and all other big trucks the inside rear view mirror is useless for driving/backing up anyways! And today we have backup camera technology anyways. . . .

If you’ll weld tubes through the top barrel and put a fan behind it you can distribute that heat more throughout your building.

I don't care for snow,. That's why I moved south. I like watching it on your videos, or when my friends send me videos. I am a hot-weather person. This last year we got more than our share of HOT weather. The temperature stayed at 109. We've had 4 days of freezing temps, and February will provide enough cold days. I don't need or want anymore. I can drive a few hundred miles and find lots of snow, so I'll do that.

@Mike. I love storms. Love the snow as well, just really hate the cold temps that make snow possible to begin with. My absolute favorite thing about snow is driving through it as it’s snowing. Being from the north, you know the visual effect you see through the windshield as you are driving down the road while it’s snowing.

Another project suggestion 😉 for spring, do you think a big ceiling fan above the entry door pushing down would help even out the temperature in the shop? 😎👍

Not trying to bust your balls Mike, but welding material to fill large holes is a fairly easy practice. Cut the price to just fit inside the whole 1/16” gap all around the material. Hold in place with strong welding magnets tax into place then weld and grind. The finished product is a flush piece of material. Instead of well what you did.

Great update! I like snow in this way, on videos, tv and post cards! Lol. Having a severe polar plunge in NC right now with single digits and such...That's quite enough for me. Why not add some kerosene heaters in the shop to help bring the temps up a bit? Merry Christmas and a most successful New Year!!

@@navigationnowhere , you need to have some bigger logs to put in after you get a good bed of coals. That way you don't have to keep stoking the fire constantly. I used a barrel stove in my first woodshop ( which was an old bus by the way), and I wouldn't have to put wood in more than two or three times a day. It would also last overnight, and in the morning, I would have a nice toasty warm shop to come to.

Have you thought about using something like 3M Universal Adhesive Black - 3, 08223, High Viscosity, Gap Filling adhesive instead of welding everything. It is fast and very easy to use.

you could burn some waste oil on that woodburner , its as simple as a metal drum or bucket sitting higher than the stove filled with the oil , a small ballvalve to regulate the oil feed (dripping basicly) use copper brakeline for the oil to move it to the firepart (as that doesnt burn or melt ) and basicly dril a small hole in the barrel above the fire to put the other end of the brakeline through once the fire and stove is hot enough it should burn hotter with the oil and not produce any smoke out the chimney as long as you dont pour it in like youre filling the car up after an oilchange you just need a steady drip or tiny stream , that will keep the stove from gunking up with soot too take a look on youtube for wasteoil burners , there are allso ways to burn the oil smokeless without using logs , i seen a few of them based of big propanebottles those have thick walls and can put out a LOT of heat if you can get enough waste engine oil to burn , oil from dieseltrucks would be best

ALSO: like Dale said if I want to see the outside, I walk outside the bus/truck. These are converted to “living quarters” that travel (to each their own) why would you ever have all your private business available for everyone right outside to see with all the windows left in a school bus!?
