@@Wileyg4lify there is a massive black market for stolen guns. It’s how a lot of prohibited possessors aka people with felony convictions, are able to obtain them. Also if one is planning to use a firearm in the commission of a crime then it doesn’t make sense to buy a gun legally since you wouldn’t want the gun traced back to you. Stolen guns show up at crime scenes all the time.

@@sweetsongstress7398 the point is the government is penalizing gun owners or potential gun owners that haven’t committed any crimes by trying to price them out while not doing much to combat the easy availability of stolen weapons that are more likely to be used against criminals. Also someone that is planning on committing a crime with a legally purchased gun won’t get discouraged from committing that crime because the gun is 11 percent more expensive.

Does the gun tax apply to police departments buying weapons and ammunition? In California you can only buy one firearm per month so what is the guy at the end talking about "mass shooters" going back and buying more guns if they can only buy one firearm a month. Expire tags. I'm pretty sure they will recieve a fine in the mail if they don't renew. More cost efficient they do that in Tennessee. In memphis police aren't allowed to pull you over with expire tags the city gives you two months till you renew before the fines start coming and if you don't pay your license gets suspended and if you get pull over you go to jail. Trust me is more about the money.

There's plenty of good hard working people struggling with money who simply can't afford things due to inflation... I'm homeless in an old Toyota Sienna minivan in Los Angeles, after losing my housing twice during the pandemic, and couldn't afford the skyrocketing rents. I still work and pay bills and contribute to society. I'm not a drug addict or crazy.

I had a car with expired reg, but it was paid. I have insurance on it. But I need to get it fixed to pass smog. At least with this I could probably drive it to get the emissions monitors online instead of going to DMV and getting daily permits to drive it.

I saw a car on the freeway two days ago with tags out of date since 2019. I saw an old car with "paper" plates that looked homemade. The gun/ammo law is not for us, it's for Newsuinse pockets. Raising the taxes on guns and ammo is not going to stop the criminals. So now my margarita is going to be $20 instead of $15.00 since they have to supply kits.

the chp got me twice for expired tags on the same day i was selling my vehicle. officer said it was all to make money, quotas. the 2 fix it tickets turned into 3500 dollar fine and suspended license. i had sold the vehicle and said phuk em.

We do have a lot of violence and street takeovers all over the state, Just in San Jose a few weeks ago a mob attacked a San Jose Police Vehicle with an officer inside after doing a sideshow and a person was hit, the officer tried to go see the victim and was ambushed by a crowed of foolish out of control teens at the sideshow with loud vehicles no pipes and popping noise. I don't understand why would someone love to drive such crazy loud cars that makes so much noise and sound like it came straight out of the junkyard for $100 bucks.

the last gun i bought i paid cash for it. but still had to do a back ground check. finger prints, lots of paperwork, and the audio and video recording at the counter. wait 10 days to pick it up then another 30 days before i can buy another gun. but my wallet says no to that as guns cost a lot of money.
