Mahirap talaga mag caregiver,lalo na kung sa nursing home ,me my self back in early 70 no need yong mga certificate .I tried to work in nursing home but only a week I quit .The job is mot for me

Dami hnd mkpag apply ng PR if hnd mkapasa sa language exam kakilala ko 4times na hnd pa mkapasa I'm glad take 1 lng nkapasa ako permanent resident now. Pahirap tlg Ang language exam. Unfair tlg kc myself as caregiver 24/7 tpos kailangan 24months to qualify to apply PR.

Sana mas i-prioritize ng gobyerno ang mga CG mga nandito na bago yung mga newcomers. No hate pero pagdating naman sa qualifications especially canadian work experience eh mas lamang yung mga matagal nang andito working hard to get their PR status. Just saying po.

I’m excited to sponsor my niece. She supposed to apply for FSWP express entry but the CRS score is so crazy high. Caregiver pathway indeed is a great news. I really need someone to look after my dad who is sick. My 2 boys are busy studying in University and the other one is in Ottawa ,works for Federal Government ( National defence) My dad needs to go to the hospital 3X a week for dialysis. I need to leave early from my work just to accompanied them (my mom who is elderly too… )I got a letter from his family doctor stating I’m eligible to sponsor a caregiver. On my opinion on the other side po Canada needs immigrants because its population are aging, retired or soon to retire, it needs workforce paying tax para mag pundo sa old age benefits, health care etc., so its a two way stream.

I remember commenting on your show about the revolving door of landed immigrant pathways. There was the caregiver in the 90’s then student visas and TFWs in the early 2000’s. Now it’s back to caregivers but maybe with a twist. Nevertheless it comes around in full circle with a bit of changed requirements. The revolution has its evolution.

This another pathway like student pathway that was abuse by many. Na kakatakot yan kse madaming magtake advantage ng mga walang kaalamanan sa pagiging caregiver. Before you need to have a certificate or studying caregiving kaya yung iba nagbukas ng school sa kursong caregiving kahit d sila accepted ng Canadian goverment. May kumita ng malaaki dyan sa caregiving course isaa na yun anak ko na gumastos kami yun pala d sila recognise ng Canadian goverment. I hope that pathway will not be abuse like the student pathway kay ngayon mas matatapang pa yun isang lahi na mga rally at magdemand ng right nila eh wala silang karapatan sa mga hinihingi nila. Canada is being abuse and some politician are abusive din.

I feel like Canada is very reliant on immigrants. Whether they admit it or not. Whether it is a politic talk. It's obvious, they need immigrants to stay as one of G7. Unless they give that up, then that's the time they can drop immigration.

Sana i PR naman muna nila yong mga nag apply na for permanent resident bago sila magbigay ng bagong rules. Kawawa naman ung mga matagal ng andito at gusto na rin nilang makasama ung kanilang mga pami pamilya.

My comment on 9:04. Canada doesn't give immediate citizenship. A person with PR status in Canada does not have the right to vote during an election-just my humble opinion.

Sa totoo lang magulo ang isip ng Mark Miller na yan kung anu ano ang mga desisyon niya about immigrants.Tulad ko Supervisor,di ako ma PR dahil tinaasan nila ang CRS points syempre hirap abutin so i don't know what will happen to me after my work permit will end.Tapos mababalitaan mo na yung mga illegal immigrants ay gagawin nilang PR ....Tulad ng caregivers na yan..really PR upon arrival sana all!! Sa totoo lang mabuti pa nung panahon ni PM Harper..basta may job ka then supported ng employer mo ang PR application mo...your good to go na at walang kailangan na English Exams or CRS points..Pero nung naging PM na si Trudeau,ayun na dumami na ang problema at sabit sabit na ang problem sa immigration pathway...Good luck sa ating nagtratrabaho na at nagbabayad ng tax..ika nga were helping the economy grow but still not qualified for PR...Goodluck din sa mga wala naman naiambag pero pagdating dito PR na agad...ang gulo ni Miller sa totoo lang... immigrants are human with feelings not rags that you can dump if you dont need it anymore...
