We've arrived! Flying from Alaska, all the way down to Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Our Cessna 172 performed admirably along the way, covering over 3000nm and taking 38 or so hours of flying - an absolutely crazy aviation adventure.
Now, it's avionics time. That's why we're here. Upgrading the instrument panel to modern standards, particularly getting ready for a highly capable IFR system.
So many of you have been waiting to see what the instrument panel is like, and now we can finally show you. In this video you'll witness us destroy the old instrument panel, preparing it for new avionics. It's bitter sweet to say goodbye. We had many great flying lessons, adventures, memories and accomplishments with this panel. But, it's time to move on.
Then, we talk about what we WANT. Or, what mission you're trying to accomplish. Of course, again, that's IFR and teaching our student pilots how to become Instrument Pilots. That's big. IFR is a really important step to becoming a professional or commercial pilot, so we want out flight school to have that new and extra capability.
The avionics shop we're working with, NewView Technologies has an awesome team. We're excited to be working with them to upgrade the avionics.
Then, we get into the actual panel design reveal. We've tried to keep it a secret, but it's finally here.
