Always go revitalize when you go resolve secondary, it's the font of life that can be replaced with bone plating. But after playing so many enchanters, I almost never use font of life unless I go guardian. Bone plating keeps you alive longer to get out more abilities in fights, font of life may save your carry or allies, but if you die too early, they're screwed either way. Revitalize is also crucial for saves for low health targets, but having 5% shield power for free as well is pretty nice. You'll likely save your allies more with revitalize than font of life anyways.

Renata feels like an enchanter-control mage hybrid. You play her like an enchanter but you have to be very careful about your positioning and key abilities.

Have you tried going guardian? You buy locket redemption and frozen heart. Works well form my experience

She's a damn fine support. Just played her and I enjoy the swain like stun however it requires another champ nearby to smack into.. overall this ultimate is a game changer

They should add some effect when you land Handshake, often you can't tell if you landed it or not...

I've been playing Renata since she hit the live server, and out of the 11 games I played I lost only 4 times. He abilities are tricky, but if you play her as. Controller cc mage by being patient you can dominate not with your adc. I did play 1 game with he as a mid mage against a Zoe, and I managed to dominate the lane, but her team started dog piling my lane so I couldn't do much till my bot came to help me + out jg.

one of the trick is if you landed Q then do not pull yet to maximum the cc duration. because it roots for 1 sec

The first time I played Renata I started maxing Q, then at level five I checked it and saw it only increased damage. I started maxing E after that lol.

Well I’m one of those people, played her a handful of times and I think her numbers need to be tweaked. Her cool downs are way to long. Damage and utility are fine for an enchanter but she seems weaker than Lulu, nami and other enchanters.

Possible to hit the first part of q throw an e while they are tethered and then second part of q where your e is going to explode, also I think glacial is underated but maybe have negative effect with her ult if it's on the enemy team they will do less damage to each other

She's a bit underwhelming in my opinion. I think they might buff her.

Are you fighting new players in the gameplay shown? I'd say bots, but bots point abilities towards characters.

GLACIAL AUGMENT works really well with Renata, especially with her Q. It's like perma lockdown. The only downside to it is it's interaction with her ultimate: it also procs with her R, which counterintuitively reduces the chance of the enemy team killing each other due to the glacial ms slow, especially if they're far from each other. Unless both enemy caught are ranged this shouldn't be much of a problem, but if they're both melee this glacial actually saves both of them xd. But then, since you almost always have to use her ult reactively in the heat of battle, then glacial may help to let your team engage the berserked enemies knowing that they'll take reduced damage as long as the rune is still active. In the end it's still up to you if you're gonna go aery/comet or glacial, but imo the latter has more utility and as a support that is important.

Played renata and all i can say her Q is a really good peel tool especially for divers who wanna dive your adc .. you Q them push them away or reposition them. E is a very good poke. Her ult is kinda slow af but might have a potential R+ flash combo( not sure if it works)

Just played my first game on her. Throwing out e then q is a pretty good way to hit the root and pull

She is strong, but entirely reliant on her team and adc, which is horrible for solo Q players. Of course, her abilities are ground breaking in pro scene, but in day to day matches of 99% of players, she gonna be just as usefull as Aurelion if they leave her without any readjustments.

I personally think that Glacial Augment is much better. It gives you even more CC. Her CDs are so long that I feel Aery isn’t as good.

I love how most are complaining that she broken or that she's punishes a team that's ahead. Working with the Jg to work back to front just makes her like any other. If the backline is the problem, focus it Yes easier said than done

Needs a buff, her CD is a bit ridiculous and her Q is probably harder to land than any hooks

Renata is to situation specific and weak. Her ap ratios are horrid also . The q is barely used in lane and the range on it sucks.Also you didn't talk about the Q's interaction with minions.Her damage is low and if your ad doesn't know what she does you are fucked.
