Ive taken the task upon me, cow opening didnt work. It became a middle game but I slowly had to gave up centre control and eventually lost.

I think it wouldn't be difficult to make a bot that checks your ratin and adjusts its strength accordingly + 100elo.

Yes, they already have adaptive bots, it's literally right there on the site as an option, it plays better if you're winning and worse if you're losing. It's been there for years

@kylezo there's also engines with this feature. Dragon for example does this. It will adjust its strength based on how you play.

Usually if there's a weird rating for a bot on Green Pawn, it's going to be inhumanly powerful and it really delivered, lol! Although it would be interesting if they made the worst possible bot for kicks one time. Like something which plays the worst engine move every time in that it'll somehow force the player into mating it if there's an opportunity for it to do so.

unfortunately chess engines are made to ignore obviously bad moves to save on processing power so it would need some adjusting to the actual engine itself

Mighty Martin seems like a Martin that really likes trying scholars mate, at least thats been my experience. Which is pretty funny, Martin just started attempting scholars mate consistently and gained 250 elo 😆

This video was so much fun to watch! Not because Anna got crushed, but because I also saw that same bot yesterday and I suspected it was something All-Powerful. So I decided to play a human opponent instead, and they opened with the infamous "Cow", and then they went on to crush me as well. Ouch. I sympathize with you, Anna, I truly do.

I might try challenging The Questionmaster one day. I've been able to beat the max level bot consistently so I should have some chance. Edit: you should have tried the cow opening, maybe you could've confused The Questionmaster :D.

Those bot rating numbers are found to be only nominal. An indication of rating for bot and human baaed on the game played is available after the game and is no lower than 100 and no higher than 10,000, and rarely, if ever, matches the nominal rating number.

Thank you so much for posting this. I have tried multiple times to beat the chessbots with rating “0”, including the question master, to no avail. It’s reassuring that you with rating 2600 didn’t do much better, although at some point it looked like you had a slight advantage.

The bot is obviously based upon the riddler. We need to give Mittens a cowl and have Mittens become BatCat to fight against the Question Master. I did get to play Robert Hess when he was a kid and I got beat pretty bad.

I could beat this bot blindfolded whilst chasing a squirrel up a tree and making coffee at the same time. I will stir the coffee with the bots queen I just captured. The bot will be so disappointed that it will climb the tree where the squirrel is, marry it and give birth to three little pawns who refuse to play chess anywhere else than in the crown of a tree.

I feel like the low level chess bots take a little while to start goofing up. They start out pretty well or so it feels to me and then after they put me in my place and make me feel dumb then the mistakes start happening like you’d have expected in the first place.

Hi, your channel makes me smile a lot of times, good to see you enjoy it all. Has your dad or mum played the zero bot (The Questionmaster) yet? I am at the moment. A 1301 rated player and I enjoy playing nelson and the custom bots as they come out. After playing Blunder Woman I thought I should try The Questionmaster. After thinking I was doing well, then getting destroyed I thought he was over 2200 for sure. So next I played with the bot, with the assisted (still making choices). But the best I could do playing black was a draw. I assume my rating for the game was higher than the bot due to being black? Bot white 2550 black 2600+ cheers.

Set up or reroll Caro and play Tal against Bf5. If you really can't beat a bot you do this every time. No matter whether it's Mittens, Hess, Komodo or any 2,8k bot you have winning position in the opening... assuming you know the moves there ;p

I had to use stockfish In order to beat The Questionmaster. Has anybody been able to beat him on their own? I just wanted to know what he said when he lost. Which was NOOOOOOOO! HOW DID YOU WIN? And It had question marks all over It.
