Texas here. Canada mexican looks like super "White People Taco Night". We're spoiled here with Taco Stands, burritos, enchiladas, and of course Tex Mex/Mom & Pop cantinas and establishments that have stood around for 50+ years. Definitely blessed to be in the South/Southwest with Mexican cuisine. Out of all the Mexican varieties in America; I'm still smitten with Tex Mex. Cali Mex is too much seafood versus Beef/Carne etc. Arizona-Mex is also interesting, along with New Mexico. I've lived in AZ, and most of my life in Texas. Born in San Antonio, but lived 35 of my 39 years in the DFW area. We're spoiled in terms of mexican cuisine, but the further south you go, the more authentic it gets. San Antonio has some gems for sure!

It never fails to impress me how they can fold up that burrito nice and tight regardless of how much stuff you have them pile on it. I know heating the tortilla beforehand makes it nice and stretchy. but I've never been able to replicate that at home. They have to use some special kind of tortilla.

Here in Brazil churros have a hole in the middle lengthwise and is filled with dulce de lette. And yeah dulce de lette when homemade takes a very long time to make.

Ken, the word CHURRO is pronounced like "Chew-row", not "Cheer-o". Also, CILANTRO is pronounced like "Sil-ahn-troh" not "sil-ann-troh". The only two Spanish sentences that you use completely out of context, "Como estas señor" and "dos cervezas por favor" are in poor taste. Please stick to English, eh??

Here we have churros with a lot of fillings dulce de leche (a milke base caramel) nutella, chocolate, peanut butter. We also have salty versions! With cheddar, olives, avocado, etc... But we are more from the Spain style (there are no records about the origin) and that´s plain churro with a chocolate dip.

Quesadilla in Tijuana, San Diego are usually cheese, pollo and maybe bacon. Shrimp is more for enchiladas.

That place looks like an amazing spot for some nice huge burritos, I haven’t seen a burrito that big since I got that garbage burrito from a place called Mr. Taco. A little on the nose with the name but I swear it tastes so much better than it sounds. 😅😂

Loved the video man! We only have qdoba up here in Alaska, but I’ve had chipotle, moes, and a few other chain Mexican restaurants. This definitely looks so worth it, the amount of food you got could feed two people easily! So about 15 per person ain’t a bad price at all! Keep up the good work!

I haven't had Mexican food in a couple years, only because my favourite place, La Cholitas, is in the city and its really hard to get a table, but its soooooooo good! My favourite items are the quesadillas, with beef, cheese, or chicken and ofcourse coriander (cilantro) . And I love the tostadas, with whatever they put on it 😅 I was doubting the server's ability to wrap that burrito,it was so full! But they did it like a pro!

The only veggies I could imagine on a quesadilla are the kind used for fajitas (sauteed onion and peppers). I prefer tacos because I don't want all the filler. Not a fan of beans or rice. But seriously anything with sour cream or guacamole I'm in.... YUM... I've never had a churro served with any sauce. The cinnamon and sugar is enough.... Great video Ken
