I just learned about Chipotle's vegan chorizo yesterday.

I get the veggie bowl with both kinds of beans too and it's not as much protein but their portion size is huge so I am always full. On that note...I'm a sucker for chorizo and will definitely be trying this when it hits the Kansas City area! Thx for the info

does it compare to the taste of soyrizo from trader joes??? when it launched that was the first thing i thought of!..if the flavor is totally different than soyrizo than i 100% wanna try it! also another thing to note is that even though you have to pay for guac, trying out the chorizo while it's limited time will show chipotle there's a demand for vegan options which could help it stay on the menu in the future so i think either way i should give it a try! i can't believe you aren't a fan of the sofritas though! i'm not fully vegan but sofritos was truly the first time i ever ate something vegan and i LOVED them😅the downside though is that the sofritas are the highest sodium item on the menu which is rough 😅 and i guess i gotta LIKE and comment bc i gotta be in the mood to shake my burrito bowls🤷‍♀️ depending on what i'm getting sometimes i like to eat all the different components separately!! why do we have to choose!

Got this last night and was a little disappointed. It’s good but for me it’s actually less flavorful than the Sofritas, which I really like. Love having a soy-free vegan protein option though!

I always get a veggie bowl for the free guac. I never loved sofritas. Just tasted like mushy spice. Ill have to try the chorizo!! And i always get extra corn and veggies and get tortillas on the side

They also had riced cauliflower as a test run last year. I was hoping it would come back this year but it didn’t. I go to Chipotle a lot and I’ve never heard nor seen anyone shake/mix their bowls?? I’m so confused! Nothing against those who do. I just think it’s a waste of time and energy. I loved the plant based chorizo! I like the free guac more though, lbvs. HIGHLY recommend it though if you’re someone that can afford that every time you go.

I'm like you. I never mix my bowl either lol I love tasting each ingredient on its own first.

My sent me to the hospital emergency. My body did not recognize it so it got stuck in my stomach. Not colon but stomach. 2 weeks to get to the colon had to have a colonic and I threw up the rest. No food but juicing for an entire week and now a rash. I cook at home or buy from places that know I do not eat meat or want my food cooked next to it. So now I have an entire rash on my body so I am on cream and waiting to see a allergist as I have never been allergic to anything.
