Since my oldest granddaughter was born, 12 years ago, I decorate for Christmas the last week of October. I absolutely love Christmas time and all the magic it brings and the month of December just isn't enough time to enjoy all the decorations.

I put up my christmas decor and tree this weekend. I am from the Netherlands, small country in europe. I am currently pregnant with my first child and my due date is 26th of november. I am doing it alone so no partner. I am pregnant by a donor. So I wanted to put up my tree before my due date because I dont know how I will feel after 😊🎄and it would be sad if the christmastree is not up. So happy I did because it is so cozy in my home now 🤗

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Because my parents were both from western Europe, we incorporate German and English traditions into the season. Also, December 23 is our Wedding Anniversary so we celebrate doubly! Traditionally, house decorations went up December 15 and our tree was up from Christmas Eve until January 4th or fifth, but now that our children are grown up with their own households, my husband and I put up the house decorations and tree starting the Friday after Thanksgiving. That gives us more time to enjoy the season and relieves some last minute stressors. Thanks for sharing your decor. I especially love to see intentional, meaningful tree ornaments. I would like to suggest that you take photos of some truly special ornaments to include in a journal for your children. I am fortunate that my mom started this tradition. Now, when I decorate, I hear her voice as I read the little narratives. My husband and I made the same books for each of our daughters to remind them of when and why they received each of their own "specials".

We have been getting new items to decorate with for Christmas this year seeing we are finally in our forever home after renting for the past 20 years. So excited to decorate and make new memories. Here in Canada Thanksgiving is celebrated in early October. And although we are thankful to be together, we celebrate during Christmas a lot more. We have dinner Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and we visit family and hang out at home with our family. Christmas has always been my favourite holiday from all the memories we have made over the years. It’s usually a two week event leading up to New Years. Thank you for sharing with us 🥰all so pretty!

I love your music choices. So soothing! I wish all KZfaqrs would play the same kind of music. I am going to declutter our Christmas decorations as I decorate starting the day after Thanksgiving. My rule is going to be if it doesn’t go in the house or hung on the tree this year, it’s gone! Since we host Thanksgiving, I tend to over decorate for it. We are in the process of deep cleaning the house for the holidays.

I’m definitely a maximumist! I love Christmas decor. I put my tree up mid November. However it’s up early because my husband is at deer camp next week. My favorite holiday is 4th of July. It’s my favorite because we just enjoy family, fireworks, boating and all the summer goodness.

Christmas is my favorite holiday but thanksgiving is a very close second (both because of family and FOOD!!) We typically decorate the weekend after thanksgiving but this year we are doing it this weekend and I cannot wait!! I just went shopping yesterday for some new Christmas decor and I’m really excited to decorate with it! Funny story I haven’t bought any Christmas decorations since my husband and I were in college. I have just used what we bought then but my style has completely changed! I figured it was time for my decor to reflect my style now that I’m an adult and a mom lol.

Our city's Christmas parade is typically the weekend after American Thanksgiving (I am from Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada). That is usually the weekend we decorate. BUT THIS YEAR, I've been taking out the Christmas bins and decluttering them this week. Our family has a lot of hand me downs, but now we are in our own home and we want it to reflect our memories and what is important to us. I'm getting so excited and I hope to put the tree up this weekend! Loads of people in my neighbourhood are early this year - it is the year to do it! I use these videos to kickstart my weekly deep cleans of my apartment! It’s a tiny apartment so a weekly deep clean only takes about an hour and daily maintenance takes no time at all so these videos are perfect!

I looove Christmas, but my parents always made NYE so magical when I was little, that I’m still emotionally attached to it as my favorite. I love Christmas. We usually go cut a tree on Black Friday and decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving. Definitely tempted to decorate soon this year. I’m trying to finish decluttering the house (nearly there) while deep cleaning everything before we bring out the decor. My absolute favorite holiday hands down is Christmas 🎄!!! To me there is no better holiday than Christmas 🎄. Of course that’s just my opinion. Others will certainly feel differently. Which is fine. Whatever makes them happy.

There’s something about New Year’s Eve that excites the type A in me. It’s like a celebration of starting fresh goals and making plans. It’s also great to have something to look forward to when there can be a slight slump post-Christmas. Easter is tied though. celebrating Jesus, my rebirth day and warmer weather :D
