Күн бұрынNew chrome pieces for rear bumper arrived and were in the excellent condition plus the seller spent the extra time to clean the inside (that you'd never see) and apply rust protection which was awfully nice.
So that and just a few updates. Pieces to be painted were dropped off today and hope to have time in the next week or so to put a decent sized dent in the list of things to do.
Audio is a little weird at times. I think constant bug noise in the background was confusing the noise cancellation in my mic.

I recently learned there were 2 different rear chrome pieces used on the USA bumpers. One is a big solid piece - I think this was used through sometime in 87. The later cars got a 3 piece setup like the front bumper, and this made the gap between the bumper and the body just a lill less. The bumper cover is the same between them - though swapping to the single piece from the multi piece leaves a tiny gap at the end.

You got lucky the chrome trim pieces appear to be flawless , thinking of doing the same painting the mirror covers to match the body color, looking forward to see the final upgrade with wheels and all.

I started looking for the bumper chrome pretty much the day I got the car a few months back. Anything I saw for sale was either obviously nowhere close to what I wanted or, if I messaged a seller with pics of my front chrome asking if their rear pieces were close I'd get a pretty quick ... nope. Had about given was resigned myself to paying the big $$$ for a re-chrome when I happened upon these pieces. Hoping I'll have those painted pieces back on the car pretty soon.

Thanks, hopefully will have it on this weekend. Have to get the new wheels on first though! Just got the tires installed yesterday and they're in the back of my truck ready to go.
