pretty sure they do kayak tours in Okahumpka... not sure about unguided rentals, but tours are a thing...

The Villages should stock ALL their lakes/waterways with mosquito-eating fish...I hope they're already doing that. Won't eliminate mosquitoes but would at least help (doing something vs. doing nothing, and it's a natural/nature control as well). -- BR

@@PapaPineapples Yes, for some years i was a enjoyng "Coastal Living" in TX (Galveston Island)...sometimes the mosquitoes were terrible. And they're always bad a few days after a hurricane hits. If I lived in The Villages and had be be out at night, I guess I'd be safe in my golf-car "speeding" along at a scary 20mph -- I don't think mosquitoes can fly that fast. ;-) -- BR

The theatre shut down in 2020. The only theatre is in Sumter Landing.
