Omg I would love to have this thing at my job.. I've been beaten to brink of death by the core driller we have.. when I know it's my day to core drill I always hope and pray that I don't get fucked up too bad by it.. I've used the same old core driller for many years now and I kinda know what not to do with it and as long as you keep it level, vertically and horizontally and apply very little pressure it won't bind up and kick too bad.. but this thing is a game changer for real and I want one now.. I hate I even seen this because now I know that there is a better alternative than what I have to use and I'm sure that my bosses won't buy one.. if they had to core drill for a day with the one we've been using then they would go buy this right after the old core driller spun them over and broke their arm.. lol damn I really want this thing so bad now..

Hi friend. The best, easy, comfortable and safe hand core drill machine I have ever see use is Ken 6110B. I'm very hardly using it more than 4 years and I have replaced there only 2ea water o-ring seals. That'll I've done fix in it.

I used a 20" in my basement for post footings. Not too many places have the spacer needed to run the 20" bit. The spacer cost like $900.

You can build "spacer" at only in 5dollar or less with the help of GI pipe welding to core bit ! ! !

I find this new safety clutch design in these new tools to be frustrating, in the real world you would have the bit 3/4 of the way through the wall and it will start to bind and you need the drill to keep spinning to get it to move back out but the new clip just makes it do nothing

Would love one of these but not at £4000. Any advise on good corded core drills - I’m a heating engineer in the UK and need a good core drill for 4” flues. The Dewalt D21570K is a pile of shite. Bought one, 12 month warranty, burnt out in month 13. Milwaukee DD2-160XE - clutch not the best but has lasted a couple of years.

I bought some Milwaukee cordless tools just this last black Friday, I already took everything back I'm a contractor, I was unimpressed, not enough power, corded tools are cheaper and no batteries no charger to buy, OK so what you have to run a cord, no big deal, I beginning to think all this cordless stuff is alot of hype from the companies trying to get you to buy the latest (Corded is better) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@nSquared75

Mark Creamer Like most things, I’d think it depends on the application. If you’re doing new construction, that may definitely be accurate as you often aren’t dealing with the space issues, as you would with finished construction. Was on the service side of things for years. For numerous reasons, cordless had the advantage.
@ssaladino1998

Your not wrong. But I don't want to drag around a cord for a drill or impact gun. The bigger tools do eat batteries like chocolate cake at fat camp.
@markcreamer4649
@markcreamer4649 4 жыл бұрын
@@ssaladino1998 No I get it, I have a cordless impact driver & drill But I still think corded stuff is much more stronger power wise than a battery Maybe someday in the future they will be equivalent, but not yet, not even the latest mx Milwaukee, When I pull the trigger on a corded Sawzall to do demo and then do the same with a cordless, there's no comparison

I've got a cordless hilti rotor hammer one battery last all day long no cords no trip breakers no pig tails wyes best investment I ever made hilti guarantees my rotor hammer has the same power as a corded one only a couple hundred more hilti guarantees my rotor hammer has the same power as the corded only 300 bucks more

@@Chris-yj3es I used a 1 1/4 drill on a milwakee 1 inch drill on a m18 system and it does drain the battery pretty quick, but its overloading the drill lol. I got a brand new bit to make one hole for a garden hose sigot, and it was just enlarging the hole.. hopefully the drill is OK. But if I install 3 spigots it will be worth it

I personally think as a Core Driller, that whole method is ridiculous. Enough power for 9 3" holes? Thats literally the first 2 hours of my job. Its much easier to anchor because its a sort of solid ground. "The hole won't move" exactly. You center and anchor it means you can't miss it. For a single hole or a large countersink. Just to be a a a-hole, she was drilling through 6 to 8 inch cinderblock with a single piece of rebar. Thats good enough to sell an idiot but not someone who is experienced. Just saying.

I learned the hard way what a hammer drill can do to you if it snaps back. 3 front teeth knocked out. The pain was nothing to me. What pained me was the fact that I had a nice set of teeth. Lol Wish there was this type of technology 15 years ago. I still have my nice set of teeth. Instead , I used the macho series 2 coring a 2 inch hole for conduit. Caught some re-bar. Bye bye 3 prutty little teeth. kkkkkkk
