I'm gathering the components that I will use for a "dream" build. I have a Pipedream ALICE frameset with 700c DT Swiss rims/hubs. I was going to go 1x using microShift but as the bike is going to be used in the Isle of Man and the Pyrenees The 11-48 rear doesn't give me enough range so I've decided to go 3x with the crank to 11-42 on the rear with friction shifters. This will give me 738%. If it doesn't work I can always drop to a double by dropping the big 46T ring and swapping the 36T middle ring for a 40T ring. The build should be coming in April when I get back to home s that's where the frame is located.
